  • When I was starting out in 3D printing I was very confused about what stuff I needed in order to use my printers, so I've done a quick tour of how my printers are arranged in a spare bedroom. I have two printers connected via USB to a Raspberry Pi running OctoPi, which connects via WiFi to our house network.
I apologize for the...frequent pauses (next time I should write a script).

Thank you for taking the time to document your set-up. Inspiring. And they don't take up a whole lot of room. Ventilation??

I should vent the printers to the outside, but haven't done it yet. I print pla almost exclusively, but worry about microparticles. My compromise is to stay iut of the room while printing.

I haven't tried printing flexible materials on either printer. To do it I'd need to replace the Lulzbot Mini extruder with a newer one; the same thing is true of the Prusa.
