I think I remember reading somewhere that in the earlier days, Tarja was more still on stage because it was an artistic decision (I think by Tuomas) to make her seem more like an ethereal figure on stage. In her later concerts with Nightwish she seems to have a bit more freedom to move around, like on End of an Era. Her solo stuff she is so dramatic and energetic it's great to see. She looks so happy when she's performing
Yup it was an artistic decision by Holopainen that Tarja would be the unreachable ice queen and Marco the beast and the one doing most of the talk in between songs. Marcelo said the same thing in his answers to fans. That's why fans were so taken aback when they met her in the streets of Buenos Aires in jeans and flip flops. She is actually pretty goofy. ;)

Nightwish have 9 studio albums, 5 of them were recorded by Tarja. Please, from Tarja's solo career react to "underneath", the studio version or the live performance recorded in Act I DVD. I love them both, but I prefer the studio version. It's one of the most beautiful rock synphonic ballads I've ever heard. She did, but her vocals were not yet developed, she sang mezzo-soprano repertoire, nowadays she can go full lyrical soprano.

Omg you must have cancer in your ears. Clearly Floor version is the absolute worst despite her horrible classical voice. It’s gives me cancer hearing floor sing it classically. She needs to stop because floor fucking sucks. Only Tarja the goddess of symphonic metal.
Nightwish has to be paying bots. There'a no way people actually think Floor's classical voice sounds good. Floor has about 5 songs that she sings really amazingly. Then, she butcher's the fuck out of everything else.
