    Thank you for this. I love your style of teaching, you get right to the point and assume one already knows their way around photoshop. I get a lot out of your videos. Well done.

    Really useful reminder that sometimes, the most simple tools can still yield some impressive results, great tutorial Sean 👍 Luminosity masks are great for this kind of retouching but the selective tools in LR are now much closer with the range masking.

    Excellent video. Please make a video about how can I change the order of the tools panels in Adobe Camera Raw and make my preferred panels to stay on top as per my need. Is it possible? For example I may want lens correction, then calibration, then HSL, then Basic to be in top. Please tell us how to get it done!

    Excellent tutorial Sean, I follow your editing steps. however couldn’t get the Rang Mask (Luminance ), I'm using LR classic 15.4. Cloud you please help? huge thanks

      As far as I'm aware, these would not affect print output but I could be wrong. Those are older settings that were developed to help display images on the internet back when we had dial-up phone speeds.

    So quick question : would utilizing luminosity masks take this image to a whole 'nuther level ? I have a friend that feels luminosity masks and TK panel changed his life and uses the process on EVERY shot . I'd like to know if it's a true revelation or is it just on high DR shots where it comes into play ?

    • @SeanBagshaw
      @SeanBagshaw  3 года назад

      Not just for high DR images. However, luminosity masks are just one more tool that gives a different way to control adjustments. They aren’t magic and require skill and practice to get good at, but if you are looking for another level of control over adjustments then they are a great tool to add to your kit.

    Classic dodging in LR. Love it. I really appreciate these shares sir. Always enjoy your teaching style and it also makes me kind of feel like I'm at one or your elusive PNW workshops :)
    One question I have is when you duplicate the radial filters, does it allow you to make adjustments to one filter and it applies those adjustments to all of them (because they were duplicated) or do you have to adjust each filter separately?

    • @SeanBagshaw
      @SeanBagshaw  3 года назад +1

      Thanks Frank. When you duplicate the new filter starts with the same settings as the one it was copied from. But after that any adjustments to a filter only apply to that one and don’t change the others.

    Sean, you know, that you can change the perimeter circle from the radial filter with „alt“ + choosing one of the 4 points of the circle, dragging and changing in this way the roundness of the field? Sometimes it will be usefull.

    • @SeanBagshaw
      @SeanBagshaw  3 года назад +1

      Yep...but for some reason I just like fiddling with all the points. 😆

    Nice tutorial Sean. I do have one totally unrelated question. Often after round tripping into PS for focus stacking or Orton, I cannot get LR to stack my images. It seems it won't stack different file formats like Tiff and DNG? It seems to me it should stack anything I tell it to stack by selecting the photos and hitting stack but sometimes it just refuses to do it. Can you educate me? If searched the web but have not found the answer yet.

    • @SeanBagshaw
      @SeanBagshaw  3 года назад

      When you say “stack” do you mean opening a series of images as layers in a single Ps document? If so, I don’t think I have ever experienced that. I’m also not sure I’ve tried opening different file types that way before.
