Also good on Hioki for sending stuff !!! They are definitely sending the gear to the right place !!! I'm excited to see the battery test review video !
Thanks abusiveben! Always happy to see you here;) I think this might be expensive, but if you are doing a lot of battery testing I hear it is a great save of time and very useful tool.
Respect HIOKI and theirs technology 💖 Great on Battery tester with data logger 👌 We are waiting for reviews Thank you very much for new test equipment video 💞
Looks like my comment disappeared. I just wanted to let you know I spoke with Richard Martire of Hioki last week before I purchased my DT4282. He was great and answered some question for me. I really like the DT4282, even better than my Fluke 87 or Brymen BM869. I let him know how much I appreciate your reviews and he said he enjoyed your channel too. Keep up the good work you are one of the few I support on Patreon, I hope it helps. I just purchased a KEL 103 electronic load, unfortunately you have not reviewed any programmable 300W electronic loads so I guess I am on my own on this one. They had a great review on EEVlog a couple of years ago, but I guess they had a bad batch last year. I will keep my fingers crossed and let you know.
Thanks so much James! I really do like the Hioki DT4282 and I agree I like it better than those meters as well (I've had both;). I really appreciate your good word with Hioki! It makes a difference for sure. I also am very happy that you chose this channel to support! I've looked at that KEL, so I am very interested it what you think!
I LOVE Schwag !!! Thats a rarity In the electronic test and measurement market . Thinking about it, in the last 10 years the only Schwag I've gotten was some decals that came with my midnite solar charge controllers . They are pretty bad ass . They say something like "Warning Death High voltage inside " then my Ryobi electric lawnmower came with a warning label that read " Please do not place small children on spinning blades severe death may occur " . The warning label was hilarious I thought bc it made me think what do these Chinese companies think Americans are doing to their kids?? and also " severe death which I guess is somehow worse than moderate death lol
WOW Ed. That is the exact clamp meter I'm thinking of purchasing. Can you please demonstrate the inrush feature maybe inrush on a fan or other electric motor. If you have a vfd to measure current that would be nice also. I really appreciate your effort into these videos.
@@KissAnalog Yes I take care of 11 buildings and about 24 roof top units so I liked the fact that it shows amps and volts or amps and hertz at the same time. nice feature.
Looked up the price on Amazon of the BT 3554 at $3000 us. You can buy enough batteries to have a good start and off grid electrical power system. I'm not saying an industrial laboratory or manufactur wouldn't be able to justify the price.
Thanks Mack! I agree - it is pricy, but if you are in the battery business and need to check a lot of them - and maybe compare them to some standard - then it might be a great deal.
It makes me so happy that you are taken serious by manufactures, it shows that you are gone from a small-timer to one who has a greater reach:-)
Thanks Fried Mule! I agree - this is awesome!
HI Eddie, Another amazing video. Thank you so much.
So nice of you! I appreciate you!

Hioki makes great stuff. Looking forward to the upcoming reviews.

Thanks so much! I'll get a video out on this soon;)
@@KissAnalog you are always welcome dear
Cool swaggies!!!
Curious to see how to do battery testing and its functionality.
Thanks for the feedback! I do this testing video very soon;)

LOL thanks my Canadian friend!
@@KissAnalog You rock man ! I sure wish you lived closer we could do beers and chatt all night !
@@JasonLeaman That would be epic! BTW, is there a favorite local beer you like?
@@KissAnalog Not to sure, we would have to drive around and pick a few :)

It would be nice if you could demo the battery meter on a lipo cell pack. Talk about "matching" cells. Etc. Thanks
Thank you! I’ll give it a try!
電池自動車の電池の劣化などを調べる上で、サービス端子とかあれば活躍しそうです。デンドライトを検出するのと、端子間の抵抗値を測定しながら容量をチェックをするなど、機能はてんこ盛りだと思います。
Thanks for your feedback! Were you asking if it checked for dendrites your were you suggesting it did? I don't know yet:)
I would gladly buy a Hioki from Japan - I'm sick of buying from China.
Thanks for your feedback! Hioki is a great brand;)
I was looking to purchase that clamp meter they sent you. When your done with it would sell it?
Thanks for asking! I'll try to review it very soon. I also have a redfish iDVM550 that can do power measurements. Are you an electrician?

$3k! Wow that's a lot. I wonder if it will do more than my high quality Instek electronic load at half the price?
