Because it was considered a “neutral “ site by the NCAA and therefore were not allowed to play it to avoid “giving a home field advantage.” If you ask me, the NCAA’s cheese has slipped off it’s cracker. They should play at a “neutral” site if they don’t want one team having the advantage.
