Just want to say, that there were other pilots coming into land later that same day, which was in total pitch black and made a much better landing, how do I know? I was on the EasyJet flight back from Faro that day (Fl No. 6006) and it was scary but also the softest landing I've been part of.
This is brilliant... Well done pilot! However, I must ask - how much of the landing was done by the pilot alone or with the aid of a flight computer? Not to take away from the achievement mind you but I'd like to know
That was a hand flown landing all the way. Pretty smooth landing too especially since the pilot made a major crosswind correction just before touchdown. The aircraft didn't lurch around after landing and I'd bet most passengers were oblivious to the fact they benefited from superior piloting skills.
almost certainly the captain would land in such high winds, sitting on the left i'm surprised he could see properly to land. all the more impressive. tip my hat
Ryanair charged £1 extra for an exciting landing fee.
HAHAHAHA, great!
Damn impressive.
Scary, but yeah, landed like a Boss!
150+ passengers went straight to the airport bathroom to clean out their pants!!
Excellent x-wind landing. Well done!
That pilot deserves a cuppa :)
Cast. Iron. Testicles.
Imagine how hard that is, jeez
Id say there was more than a few skid marks on that runway after that ;p
Great pilot. Deserves to work for a better airline than ryanair - lidl on wings.
Good Luck Trott on your flight this weekend:P
was on a Ryanair flight today landing at Bristol in high winds! proper crossed up and a show of hands when he got it down in one! wet and windy!
holy fuck, that pilot's ball are made of diamond...
Bro, do you even drift?
Like a BOSS!!
Great piloting skills...Ryanair excellent airline
Lulz...
Did they charge more for landing sideways?
Well done pilot. I'd prefer to have that one to many.

You can be sure that is full manual mode landing there. No way that's in auto in those conditions.
there are no automatics there, pure piloting, pure flying.

That is a good effort
Wasn't that bad. Just a good pilot doing his job.
balls of steel
.....Another successful on time ryanair flight
real pilot here!
nice job
IMPRESSIVE! Kick that rudder!
he must have some skill or luck to be able to land the plane in them sort of winds
Skill, not luck.

***** i didnt say anything about 150? there isnt one number in my post. i dont understand? i dont know the wind speed.
Full Pro
Yeah,bouncing a bit
Airdrift!!!!!!!
Crosswind not sideways and planes can land in winds stronger than this
