Thanks, that's a huge question I can't tell you how much I got frustrated when i searched for this query for 2months on all forums and everything and creating forums for this question before finalizing 5.1.4 for my taste . It's really great to see someone clearing such doubts that no one else cares to answer much.
Thanks Mohit for your feedback. I’m glad that you got answer to your question. In case you have more questions to ask us, check out our #GetHelp series and share your questions directly using form.typeform.com/to/Nx8SB51v
You are doing a great job, by educating people who are interested in setting up home theatre in their home. I am happy that I have contacted you for designing my home theatre room in me bed room (still under construction)
Hey Srinivas, Thanks for your feedback. I am really glad to help you with your dream home cinema system. My team is equally excited to see your room go live soon :)
Thanks, this is very helpful. I’m a big fan of atmos and would be watching lot of movies. My room size is 10widthx15length. What would be your suggestion? 5.1.4 or 7.1.2?
@TanmayMehta is this series good for dolby atmos in your opinion? I didn't find any specifications with the wording atmos on the speakers. As for the amplifier I was thinking of the denon x3800h
Hi Tanmay...do I need to add a side surround for every row. For e.g., I have 3 rows..then a pair of surround for every row. That becomes 9.1.6 for 2 rows or 11.1.6 for 3 rows...please help me understand.
You need to buy a power amp and connect it to your speakers (one pair for each row) and connect the power amp to pre out of the processor! That ways the processor channels are less but the speaker qty is high. I think better get on T20 call with me to understand this in details
My room size 15x15, i have Denon AVR 3800, QAcoustic 5400 front, 5090 center, QB 12 sub woofer, surround 5020, Atmos Qi 80C. Two rows. Please advice me shoud i go for 5.1.4 or 7.1.2 , Projector Epson 9400. Still i have place all the above in my room, as still work is in progress. An early advice is highly appreciated.
What is the difference between 5.1.2 or 7.1 channel speakers ? I got Denon X250BT recever 5.1 , I like to add up more to speaker , what I have to do plz suggest??
They are same. The fronts and surrounds have speakers on top for atmos firing. Buy them only if your ceiling height is less than 9ft and wall to wall distance is less than 12-13 ft
@@TanmayMehta ok so what I wanted to ask was that if I get a 7.1 channel avr and want to build an atmos setup, those additional 2 channels should be hieght channels right?
🙏Tanmay ji please guide me about the purchase of home theatre system. I am focusing on Yamaha yht 1840 & Bose 600 …my preference is CLARITY…Will face little problem to install rear speaker ….whether LACK OF DOLBY ATMOS in Yamaha is a big issue….please make a review video on bose 600….thanks a lot
Thanks for your message. YHT-1840 is a fantastic system compared to Bose 600 only for its separate speaker installation. Wired 5.1 is more better than Atmos soundbars is my personal opinion. However, your viewing distance and application may change the answer!
I had this question in mind for sooo long. You read my mind. Thanks a lot. 😃 In the same line, can you suggest few good 9.2 channel AVRs, because that's inline for me for next upgrade.
@@justcallmeabhi I think you can go with any starting 9.2 like the Marantz SR6015 or Denon X3800H etc as they have more than enough power to serve your room size as well speakers. Your towers are rated 70 Watts RMS and any 9 channel AVR offers more 100 Watts of RMS power. I have not ever experienced Yamaha AVRs but I feel that since you already have Yamaha speakers it will have best synergy with a Yamaha receiver. The good part is even you want to upgrade your speakers later or want tp shift to bigger room size, majority or in fact all of the 9 channel AVRs come with pre-out for all speaker channels. Hence, you can anytime get a power amp and enjoy any capacity of system.
@@mohitkatta3031 Both are going to cost same. The only few advantages I find in Denon X4700H is slightly more power and lower THD. At the same time, X3800H has better useful features to offer. And for his room size, Denon X3800H has enough power to offer.

If you’re seating away from rear wall by atleast 3-4ft then go for 5.1.4. Else 7.1.2 is good 👍🏻
I have 2 ceiling speakers middle.i want it to use it for atmos with denonx1800avr
What do you think about the Sonodyne speaker brand? IWO series in wall. I would like to make a 5.1.4.
It’s a great value for money product 👍🏻

Front Qacostic 5040 not 5400
7.1.2 is good choice with a provision for 2 extra speakers in ceiling as your AVR has 11ch processing!
Sir, if go for single row sitting, then will you recommend for 5.1.4 or 7.1.2. Please advice me at the earliest.
What is the difference between 5.1.2 or 7.1 channel speakers ?
I got Denon X250BT recever 5.1 , I like to add up more to speaker , what I have to do plz suggest??
You have to change your AVR to 7ch model like Denon X-1800H
Yes sir but what actually a difference between 5.1.2 / 7.1??
Hi Bro
Is klipch 5.1.4 reference home theatre is different from klipch 5.1.4 home cinema speakers.
I saw 1 video both are in different sizes.

@@TanmayMehta I understood. Thank you for reply.
But what about 7.1 atmos avr. Additional 2 channels compared to 5.1 would be hight channels right
Nope. They are assignable. 7.1ch AVRs can work for 5.1.2 or 7.1 or 5.1 + Zone 2. They generally don’t have pre outs for additional channels as well

Depends on your speakers and room size.
Denon x4700h is a good option overall
