Bro really only showed up in the last 12 chapters of the manga such a waste. Ill admit the anime ending was kinda bogus but at least thev used ashura more, by far the most interesting villain as he serves as a foil to everyone in the main cast.
Seeing more of Asura definitely would've been really great however I don't think he was wasted and still is one of the best characters in the series, I mostly wish we got to see more of his backstory even if just a chapter or two since he has probably the most interesting backstory out of anyone in soul eater yet we only get a few pages and some statements from Death and Asura about it

Ashura is just built different in manga, he didn't even lost, they had to seal him away again because not even the best three meisters could stop him
They have to make a remake that follows the manga
