I'm 41 and no longer have "red dot days", but I used to look enjoy logging it in my journal as it was an excellent way of tracking emotional days & understanding *why* I was feeling the way I was.
I use a hobonichi memo book as my commonplace book! It’s nice because I can tuck it into my cousin and take it with me and my planner :) Love the flexibility of your commonplace book, curious to see how you use your TAN 👀
Aww loved seeing that! While I was pregnant I used to print pages in a binder as well. Still love the idea and hope to one day have some time to make a binder with collections and interesting articles similar to yours here. When my baby was born I went full on commonplace book with a single pen, no decoration. It worked so well. This reminds me a lot about it as well. I hope you enjoy your new book for 2024 and I'm looking forward to any videos about it! ❤
I absolutely love that you have your ideal routine and activities for the kids printed out in your planner! I have a digital list for myself but the barrier to entry is so high. I am going to try this out and hopefully it helps! It is so hard for me as a parent to remember all the things 😆
I love your ideal routine page. It’s a brilliant idea. I am going to establish my own. For me, tracking those things daily is depressing. It feels like a measuring stick, again, just for me. I appreciate, respect and admire people who really benefit from trackers. Also, regarding typing vs writing, in my experience, the important thing is the ritual. I am most pleased with my journaling and planning, be it typed or handwritten, when I enter something, anything, each morning. Every morning, I check and update my digital planner and, inspired by Helen at Coffee Monster Co, I write a good morning entry in my planner. I may or may not add to the writing journal but I connected with it in the morning. Thank you so much for sharing.
same for the routine page! I'm going through a weird transistion... new apartment and roommates, fresh out of school with a new and flexible job... i need to create an ideal routine for my mornings/days so I know what to do when i get out of bed lol!
@@itsabelletime what an exciting time for you! Congratulations on your achievements, you must be very proud of yourself! I went ahead and set up my ideal day and just the process of setting it up was very helpful. Rather than thinking of just what I have to do, I added what I’d like to do to. It’s definitely helped me enjoy doing things because I’m not constantly worrying that I’ve forgotten something
I have always been in love with your super neat and beautiful handwriting....😍 I'm not a well-organized person. So, my journal is always about dramas and movies I just watched
Loved how detailed you got in your breakdown of how you might want tot use your Take a Note a5 2024 planner! I commonplace in a composition notebook currently.
My partner recently suggested to me that I think about separating my planner + notebooks into individual inserts or sections. I think I might look into a binder like this! Thank you for sharing Sarica! 🙂❤
Wow! This looks gorgeous! 🤩 I’m so happy I found your account via Pinterest earlier today & the fact that the text is written with that line spacing so everything ends up looking the same is just like 👌🏼 (I hope you understand what I mean, I’m having a bit of a hard time explaining at the moment 🙈). I’m also having a commonplace book as well as a ring planner & I’m new to ring planners as well since I discovered them during September/October 😊
what a beautful planner! I recently started using the happy planner after a year in a passion planner. both were thrifted and the happy planner I found actually only had the rest of the year in it which was perfect (i used my passion planner academically, and now I've graduated, so I'm using the happy planner until December) but after that I'll be switching back to passion planner for 2024. I'm happy i got a chance to try the happy planner out... I will say it's nice being able to flip the pages around all the way to have one planning surface, but yeah... the rings and having to tear pages outsometimes is just kind of annoying... still only 3ish months left in the year so I might as well use it! I was able to find another unused passion planner at a thrift store, and it's dated from a different year so I'll have the change the dates, but i did that for the last passion planner I used and that's half the fun of using and decorating it haha! hope you can get the best out of this planner/common place book for however long you need it/use it! thanks for sharing and happy to have you back, Sarica! I hope you and your fam are doing well!
Have you ever tried creating planner pages in Keynote? You wouldn’t be limited to the restrictions that Numbers/pages puts on you (I think). I saw someone use it to make planner pages the other day. Also.. love your planner!
I wanted to ask you one more thing btw: How did you do to decide/know how you should design the page in Pages regarding the size of the boxes etc to get the amount of space you wanted from the edges of the boxes to the edge of the paper?
I'm totally new to this type of system... do you print and then punch the pages or do you buy the pages prepunched and then feed them through your printer?
I could never find peace in a binder because of the rings, until last year. The solution is that I’ve given myself permission to only write on the right side page, and leave the left side blank. I am now very happy in a personal rings binder, that I use as a project planner.

I know you’ve probably heard this before, but your voice is so soothing and peaceful to listen to 😌

These rings are the most comfortable to write because they are not in the middle and not big!!!!🎉🎉🎉
Love your sweet up! As a casual cozy gamer I suggest Fae Farm 😊
I second this!! I have been playing everyday for an hour or so before bed 😂

No lie, when I saw your post on Instagram, I thought you HANDWROTE the typewriter font! I didn't put it past you and your neat writing lol
Oh gosh ☺️long ago I used to handwrite in a serif style for fun 😅 love a good typewriter font!
I miss your videos. So peaceful watching this
This was very soothing and satisfying ☺️🍵

I know what you mean about rings, but your pages look lovely and clean, which I appreciate very much and some great ideas. Thank you for sharing.

Also.. love your planner!
May I ask what type writer Font you used? I love how authentic it looks.
I’m curious, what do you use your punch your pages? I’ve never been able to find something that punches like that.
Thanks for sharing!

I print first and then punch. I think all the ways you mentioned would work!
New here, such a lovely idea! Look forward to more of your videos!
