dude what a fantastic interview.... it's been the best i've seen so far, thanks for uploading this... I miss the true nightwish... nowadays they're just a regular band, they lack the spirituality and intensity they had back then. Well what can u do about it...
@Tangakkai I'll have to respectfully disagree because I thought the great thing about old Nightwish was that even though it was very power metal Tarja's voice and melodies were still unique and fit the music I feel perfectly. It sounded like it was INFLUENCED by Stratovarius but not a direct rip off and there was certainly a sound in the early days that was distinctly Nightwish and that is why Oceanborn is one of the best power metal albums. Oh, and we always need another power metal band.

They should go back to being influenced by Stratovarius.

@Whackooyzero we don't need another power metal band and that style didn't really go along with tarja's singing anyway.
