    I am Egyptian, I visited Dahab for the first time in my life last summer and it simply took my heart ❤️, coz it is genuine, and simple, genuine beauty of the sea and mountains no fancy hotels, everything is so natural

    Thanks for the great video! Do you have more (quantitative) info on how fast the internet over 4G in Dahab is? I am thinking of doing remote work there but I need a connection that is stable and fast enough for video conferences.

    • @CameronImpastato
      @CameronImpastato  Год назад

      My map is the best thing you'll find - www.google.com/maps/d/u/1/edit?mid=18ZVw7oPDNNJSCuGaH8YAbKjXO4HM6Vof&usp=sharing. Checkout the cafe video to see what they're like on the inside as those may have better wi-fi than the place you stay - ruclips.net/video/nG4FIlWqQh8/видео.html. I ended up using 4G for video calls but that's because the wi-fi in my Airbnb didn't work. It's not great but it was better than the connection I had in rural America. If you're selling or leading cross functional teams via video calls I don't recommend it as you need confidence in those. If it's for the occasional team meeting it's fine.

    do you think I could get 100mbps with the 4G or is it somewhere in Dahab where I could get that internet speed?
    thanks!

    Are the people in Dahab as harassing as in other parts of Egypt? We're in Luxor and it's like hell. Can you mind your own business in Dahab without being interrupted every 5 meters of walking?

    • @CameronImpastato
      @CameronImpastato  5 месяцев назад +1

      I know how you feel and no. Dahab is different. There’s a small stretch in the center of town along the beach walk where folks will welcome you to eat but they stop after the first rejection. Business is good there, they don’t need to push.
