I believe the best music producers are the ones who are the most experimental with other kinds of music so if Blackmill WAS your favorite chillstep artist then songs like this are the reason you like him. Blackmill has his own style of chillstep that has all kinds of different genre influences and that is what makes his music unique so this is well appreciated as well. Chillstep or not!

If you ever get around to making chillstep again like you mentioned somewhere in the comments, I (and judging by the views on your old songs possibly thousands or even close to a million other people) will be waiting with bated breath for that kind of beauty to wash into our lives again.
PS: This song is wonderful too. I've always been a big fan of the way you use reverb and the feeling of vast space and dreaminess it adds to your music. Your music helped me through some tough times and for that I cannot thank you enough.

This song was incredible. You’re an incredibly talented producer and musician and just a wonderful addition to any musical library. I got hooked on you with your legendary chillstep 6 years ago, and I love the experimenting you do. Sure. Some songs may not be my taste but I truly respect the work you do, the effort you put in, and how the art is a reflection of what the artist, you, sees! I LOVE your music, and will ALWAYS be a fan of you. Some people may be bashing you for this and that and some songs not being chillstep, but hey! Fuck Em! Keep making what you want to make and enjoy it!

I just want to thank you for the good tracks you've uploaded so far. I don't know when the first time was that I started listening to them. I guess it was when 'Lucid Truth' came out. I remember that I was watching a music video at GameStar.de which had some scenes from 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2'. It was a pretty and melancholic video. Since then, you've been my favourite music artist. You are awesome! I get goosebumps and a very good feeling every time I listen to your tracks.

Dear Blackmill, I so hope that you will ever do a cycle of 'seasons' like Antonio Vivaldi. Your style of melodic dubstep is very good and I just want you to do it. It may not be what I expect to hear. No matter, I'll still listen, I like this music.

Friend and My Love are in my top few favorite songs ever. It's a serious shame I can't find anything like them anywhere other than Blackmill and he's moved away from that genre. The vocal style in My Love is just gorgeous especially along with the beat but there's nothing else like it out there.
