Back in 2001, Specialist In All Styles saw Orchestra Baobab release their first new recordings together for nearly twenty years. Produced by Youssou N'Dour with World Circuit's Nick Gold the album is driven by an infallible groove and standout vocal performances. Featuring guest contributions from Cuban superstar Ibrahim Ferrer and N'Dour himself, the album is infused with an infectious sense of enjoyment and a wealth of experience summarised best by its title.

En écoutant ces belles mélodies et en regardant la société d'aujourd'hui l'Afrique principalement le Sénégal dites moi qu'est ce qui a changé ? Pourquoi les choses ne sont plus comme avant ? En même temps cette chanson devient nostalgique et vous plonge au 20e siècle mais quand vous regardez Le présent de ce 21ème siècle tout vous dégoûte et on sent que quelque chose va mal

RIP Balla Sidibe. How are they going to go on without him ? But they always went on even when half of members was out... love this orchestra.
Balla Sidibe is one of my favorite musicians of all time, he was truly amazing but so is Orchestra Baobab. I saw them live last month and the performance was incredible.

This is my go to music when I work. I'm so happy to have stumbled upon it randomly in 2005 and so glad that I asked what was playing. It's so uplifting and soul feeding. I just wish I'd got to see them in concert too.

The Sniff3r du 93 it’s literally saying that don’t ever forget me. “Bul ma mine” is little hard to explain because it’s a sort of expression that kind of mean don’t get to know me. I don’t know if it sound right to you but it’s like you used to see a person everyday and every time and that person tryna to explain to you that never let me down because i see you all the time
