  • Connel is a village in Argyll and Bute on the West coast of Scotland.
It is situated on the Southern shore of loch Etive and the village gives its name to the spectacular Connel Bridge, a large cantilever bridge originally built for the railway between Oban and Ballachulish. (opened in 1903).
