Emu and mafuyu are more simular imo, they both hide thier sad emotions for the sake of others (mafuyu’s “good girl persona” is just other’s expectations if her I think, emu doesn’t want anyone to worry about her and wants people to smile)

Mafuyu discovers more and more things about herself in Sekai on her path to discover who she is, while Tsukasa reminisces about everything that is already there in some way. While Mafuyu and Tsukasa are both trying to see their present, Mafuyu searchs for what she wants in the future, trying to avoid her past, Tsukasa looks at what has been in the past and avoids the future where he’ll inevitably separate from Wonderlands x Showtime. Or that’s what the characters are all sure of. Taking a break from reminiscing about the Sekai’, Think about the first event of Nightcord. Mafuyu finds herself comparing to a marionette, while in our latest event in the EN server from Wondashow (Wonderlands x Showtime, Japanese abbreviation) On Tsukasa’s card he’s shown as a jester, a puppeteer, now why is that? Well, If you notice, a marionette is a type of doll that is moved by strings, someone else has it in their control. Meanwhile, Tsukasa is shown as a puppeteer because he’s the one pulling the strings to his own actions. If you notice, Tsukasa never not once has openly said his bothers without trying to laugh at them in one way or another only to minimise the way people perceive them, and other times he just says a lot of things about himself while alone on his room then when encountering someone he just pushes it under the rug and continues being the star he proclaims to be. Have you noticed the pattern yet? To put it in the simplest terms, Mafuyu is a marionette moved by other people, she lost control of her own strings to the point she can’t see who used to pull the strings (herself). Tsukasa is pulling the strings to his “star” side, not letting anyone know about who the puppeteer really is and dissmising his own feelings. Now, back to the Sekai’s, remember how I said they contrasted in being the most empty and the most full? Well, Mafuyu’s Sekai lets her feel every emotion she has to feel thanks to all the dread her mother made her feel, without anything that could potentially not allow her to, Tsukasa’s is filled to the brim with all sorts of distractions that stop him from truly experiencing and realising the dread he has gone through. I can definitely keep going wanna see? Now while to everyone, Tsukasa and Mafuyu are polar opposites, if you notice, they’re two sides of the same coin. Both different but nevertheless the same. Now there’s a saying that says; “To say that we’re the same, we have to admit we’re different.” Now how does that apply? Think of them this way: Mafuyu started out in pure darkness but is slowly reaching the light, and Tsukasa started in pure light and is slowly succumbing to the dark. See the parallel? If one starts in black then heads to the white, and the other starts in white then heads to the black, they’ll cross each other in between their shades of grey. Parallel lines. Walk along each other but never cross. It took me a while to come to all these realisations, I started playing Project Sekai 6 months ago and I started with Nightcord, it wasn’t until I finished all the (in that time,) all the EN server events of Nightcord that I started with Wondashow. And I couldn’t help but find it odd how Tsukasa’s character acted some times, the moment in the main story in which he was in Sekai and remembered his true emotions, I knew there was something more to it. And I could ramble all day long about Tsukasa if I wanted to, sharing all that I’ve come to realise and maybe one or two headcanons about him, don’t worry everything I said here applies in canon, but in the end, they’ve said the end to the stories are close.. Haven’t they?
