And what great camera work at 2:26 to capture the duet between the solo oboe and the image of the hornist over his right shoulder. It certainly must have been planned but it appeared so naturally.
Any horn players out there know what she is playing on? I'm not a hornist but looking at 2:30 isn't the top tubing Bb with a stop valve ? The rotor at the top is for an F attachment? Where's the lever? It looks a bit like an Alexander 97 but not exactly.
+cheesemongerinF Looking at 2:30 it looks to me that the top visible slides/rotors are all Bb and a stop valve. IOW I see no F slides as in a normal double or triple horn. Therefore if it's triple it is a compensating triple similar to a Paxman model although different. www.paxman.co.uk/pages/model83compensating.html It has 6 valves however instead a paltry 5. I see both Alexander and Paxman have models where they use that top valve where the pipe meets the bell stem. It looks like a compensating double or triple. I looked at Alexander, Schmid and Paxman and see nothing exactly like this but similar.
She is playing on the newer version of the Paxman Model 40 descant. Nice horn, and a nice performance. I prefer my 1979 Model 40 to the newer one but Paxman continues to make some of the best horns in the world!
I played this in a UIL competition in 1963. And I did pretty well with it. I hope your audition went well, and that you are still playing. I wish I were. Keep it up. If not you will wish you had. You never know just how good you can get without years of practice and dedication. The horn isn't an easy instrument. But the SOUND. I wonder how good I could have been. At my age there isn't enough time to find out and I can no longer form a decent embouchure. Keep at it if you have talent.
ペトレンコ氏のソロ前の揺るぎないテンポ感が素晴らしい。それがソロを一層引き立てていますね、素敵。
Wow, what a great, soft tone! That fits perferctly in the spirit of this passage.
I agree with you! It is wonderful!
Yes. I think I'm in love.
これは素晴らしい‼️ チャイコフスキーの美しい旋律から感じられる哀愁と希望をこの人は巧みに表現できています。
I really like her firm and solid sound.Awesome!!
Very nice french horn solo...One of the most prettiest sounding instruments....
T Clark props to you don’t find a ton of trumpet players that appreciate horn like you😂
Bravissima!!!! Wonderful Horn Solo!!!!!!
Great job Inger and I loved the conductor's interpretation of it, some rush the tempo too much.
très beau son et très belle sensibilité! magnifique!
Molto brava,bellissima interpretazione!
Yep...the king of melody.
Magnífico ❤️

In atenția dirijorului. Numai cornista a dat tempoul corect. Interpretare fantastică! BRAVO! Mi-am amintit de profesorul meu V. Buyanovski.
Da asa e

+bigpardner Looks like a triple horn possibly Paxman or ???, There is a diversion valve near the left hand position..

I don't think this horn player is Ingel Besserudhagen. I guess an extra player played solo. If you know the name of the player, please let me know.
I can confirm that it is Inger Besserudhagen who is playing. I don't know her well personally, but live in the same city.
Thank you very much!
Why?
Calling me home 🏡
I am pretty sure this is not Inger Besserudhagen.

She's too sharp.
I think that she is much better than berlin phil or vin phil. She is raelly in the music.
