the angle of the roof is due to the snow cover we used to get in germany. not alot of snow can accumulate on the roof if it is that steep. exessive snow cover can crush roofs.
That is sooo true! Kids are the same everywhere you go. No matter what language or culture they are from, all of them do the same thing, when mocking a person and it goes like this na-na-na-na-na-naaaaaa. 🤣
Walking around Germany as a stranger in the summer and greeting everyone with "Hello fröhliche weihnachten"" is not bad. So everyone knows right away that this person can't be dangerous, just a little weird. So that helps a little bit more to get in touch with people 😄
Very nice videos ..seems your 38 h trip was worth it. By Fin? you have the best tour guide and German teacher you can have 🙂. Did your mom also arrived from NZ? The thing with the roofs is > snow. As nowadays it's rarely to have much snow it still happens sometimes. Imaging 2 meter snow on the roof so it's better the snow is sliding down before a roof breaks down. Usually we don't have 2 meter, just 2 centimeters LOL
Hi there, ..but you also know to say Danke and well pronounced anway. Yes, the language is a key opener. I am sure Kiwis will learn german quite fast. Easy the way kids can communicate Yes, nice to have extra space directly uunder the roof but it can be very hot in summer and freezing cold in winter from my own kid experience. CU
6:15 *And* it is amazing,... when you realize,..that your spoken language *english* actualy is a *german-slang-language* coming from the North-Germany located germanic tribes back then ;)
Why do youtube videos take pride in stuffing their mouths and actually film the process? And to do that WHILE talking is even worse. Or is that just Europe that has a different standard?

Your son says cool as a German would pronounce it. 🙂
After watching a little further I realized he is German. ^^
Oh he isn’t my son 😊 he’s my friends son and is German, so we communicated without language
@@ljspeirs Oh Okay...think of it as...you looked like mother and child. 🙂
