this is my guitar cover of Machine Gun Kelly's new song "papercuts"

This was the most accurate tutorial I was able to find, thank you! Also if you don’t mind me asking, what guitar pedal(s) were you using to achieve the sound?
Thank you very much for your comment! I used my amp called Blackstar HT 5. To get some better sound I connect it with my production program Logic Pro X. The only thing I did there is to put some reverb and delay on the guitar in the beginning and for the solo. That's pretty much all I can tell you 🤘

First of all thank you very much! 🤘 I used an Blackstar HT5 Amp. I also connected it with my music production program Logic Pro X to put some more effects and Sounds on the guitar. It's not that much you have to do depending on which amp you're using. I basically put my amp into heavy mode but not using to much distortion. Bass and mids around 5 or 6 and treble a little bit higher. Put some reverb on it and that's all actually. But yeah it depends a lot on which amp you're using 🤘

That's a good question man I was asking that myself too...I actually don't remove the guitar part of the original song, I just play my guitar over it and higher the volume till you can't hear the original guitar anymore !

in the intro distortion part, what does the (17) mean? I'm pretty beginner and when I play the 15b and 17 something sounds off LOL idk what im doing ?? also, THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO
First of all thanks for your comment! 🤘 it just means that when you bend the 15 on the b string it is the exact same note like the 17 on the b string. So you can either bend the 15 or you play the 17. You have to choose one of those. Sorry if it was confusing

Thanks man! I'm using the music production program Logic and record the guitar with my Focusrite Interface and connect it with a DI Box. That's basically all I use

isnt this song in standard
You could play the e guitar in the song in standard, too. But then you would play the high e and f powerchord. If you listen closely to the original song you can hear that the e guitar plays a lower e and f powerchord, so it has to be half step down (or even drop d).
