Extreme Flight 48" Edge 540T EXP V2

Had a sunny and calm wind day over the weekend, so we took the golf cart and 48" Edge V2 to the local golf course for some flights! The Edge is a great choice to fly in any area due to it's stability and predictable tendencies. Flying just as well as the V1, it is now equipped with the new wing latch system and lighter construction. This Edge is powered by the new T-Motor AM480 motor and T-Motor 66amp ESC. It's spinning the T-Motor 13x6.5 prop. I am using 4S 2250mah batteries from Pulse and Spektrum, and it is guided by the Spektrum DX-20.

Jase that was outstanding. All of us who have logged serious time on the 48"/1.2m class know that the Torque 820/13 x 6.5/3S and 12 x 6/4S combo is the perfect graduating plane from foam. However as you get better this does run out of steam. Also the X3910 motor is way too overpowered for this class. As we have just seen the T-Motor 480 could solve this problem rather elegantly particularly in a situation where you need to keep flying balsa but can't get to the field. Well done!

The 13x6.5 prop also makes a difference IMO better than the 12in prop they recommend
