It hardly matters if you are on 0 percent or 10 percent, even if a person who is standing at 0 level in July can easily score upto 98 percentile in first attempt. believe me its so fucking doable,I have seen people who got 90 percentile in 1month by just going through the board syllabus 😂😭
minimal use of social media stuff should be your first preference if you are at almost 0 level (*note it ,social media usage and entertainment should be fixed whether for 30min or 1 hr in a day) except these 30min-1hr you have the whole day just grind it 🙃

Similar thing happened with me, I got a rank around 2K in JEE 2023 and chose Chemical at IIT-D. But I had so much discipline built inside of me that I knew I could change my branch to a good one.

I am writing to inquire about my eligibility for admission to NIT through JEE (Main) examination. I appeared for the CBSE Class 12 examination in 2023 and got a compartment in one subject. However, I later changed my board to the State Board and passed the Class 12 examination in 2024 with 80% marks.
My query is whether I am eligible for admission to NIT considering my compartment in CBSE Board and subsequent change to State Board?
There is no issue in it State board marksheet will work.
