I think ten days if I really pushed hard. I can't think how these guys do it. I like vinegar on fries. No hot dogs, though. Another sausage, okay, maybe andouille?
I like your channel more than the other ones because you are more real and not reel or acting on cam. And you are just straightforward and vocal(also your voice is very clear) about your emotions and thoughts which most RUclipsrs are not. Just for some views people do more of acting than be real on cam. Also you share some key points about the restaurant in which you try the food challenges. Plus you look very calm and composed and not sleepy or tired even after finishing the challenge , which is very nice. I wish you Best of Luck in Life! 😊👍
Well done Joel. You work so hard and you are a terrific person. You're very polite, caring. I love the descriptions you give the food. And i. love it in the last few mins you take us around the area your staying in. It's so nice to see parts of the world I'll never manage to see. Your parents have brought you up beautifully. And thankyou for sharing your talent. Kind regards Sarah.
Joel you are simply the greatest eater I’ve ever seen. I’ve been watching you for a long time now and you’ve never failed no matter how big the challenge. This Vietnam Vet salutes you brother!!!
Born and raised in Quebec City, Ketchup isn't so much a thing but Mayonaise is huge, especially the Hellsman brand is a total goto/classic, especially if you go to the chain restaurant "Chez Ashton" which is only available in Quebec City. Been in the US for 19 years and it is still my favorite restaurants.
Born in Montreal. The local pool hall had a small kitchen. All they served were hotdogs, hamburgers and fries. The hotdogs were steamed, with cabbage on top and mustard. The buns were buttered on the outside and grilled almost flat. They were a treat as a kid!
Joel is a Brutumus Maximus. He is by far the best in the world. This dude is a fricking eating machine worldwide and very very few come close to our man Joel. I am proud to be an American.
Love you Joel and I watch all your uploads. I'm actually homeless at the moment in the UK sleeping on the seafront. Watching your vids makes me happy and gives me appetite to survive another day xx
Yes Montréal is the only town in Province of Québec where you cannot turn right on red light. Congratulations for winning this challenge . Almost each town in have his own poutine(not "pouteen") specialized restaurant! Everything started in Victoriaville surround 50(ich) years ago. Bienvenue au Québec Joël!🎉🎉😋
Anyone else notice that embarrassed look on Nico's face when Joel burps??? All the while that dude is chewing with his mouth wide open. Just an observation.
I was born in Shawinigan, Québec. I now live in Québec city. My 20 y.o. son and I have a « best poutine » répertoire. We like the « classic » version : fries, gravy (sauce), cheese curds. That’s what most people usually think of when we say « poutine ». I had so many poutines in my life, but I never had the one you just had ! The origin of poutine is apparently somewhere between Drummondville and Victoriaville. No matter who you ask, the best poutine is ALWAYS in the home town of the person you ask. I say the best is Beauparlant on main street downtown Shawinigan. 😊
There's two people who always act like they won't be able to finish a challenge, Joel Hanson and B.O.B. Shoudt and they never fail. I think Joel forgot his challenge, where he ate 21 pounds of pulled pork. Anyways, great job, Joel, and an atta boy for his partner on this one. Have a great weekend, guys 👍👍
I agree with you! Joel should get an Oscar for pretending he's full when we all know he only gets full when he eats past 45 mins straight! And he was serious about dessert!😂😂
Poutine has an ingredients of diff sliced veges, kind of meat, mountain of food. Juicy, savory, creamy, salty, little spicy maybe, and a fried dish. ❤ (watched: Oct. 31, 2023 2:36pm Phils.) Always with diff. beverages, everytime you have food challenge, Sir Joel. Your companion is enjoying too the food challenge. 😊 stay healthy everyone..! ❤
15 pounds in 26 minutes… 🤯🤯🤩🙌🏻! is this man like the greatest competitive eater of all time??! Like WHO else can eat like this??! I follow quite a few eaters here on RUclips but this is just incredible
The fact that Niko made it through approximately 7 lbs. of food during his very first ever challenge is impressive as heck. I love it when you team up with first-timers and try to guide them through it; every single person's experience and reactions are different and entertaining. You doing challenges alongside first-timers could be a whole series of its own.
Lmao the fact that it wasn't disappearing when you were digging away at it reminds me of when Beard had that pancake challenge that after he finished one, the entire thing just resurrected. I've never seen so many toppings on a poutine.
@@jamieconklin1520 Lol I love that Beard apologizes to his audience when he is making a mess. Like they didn't expect such a thing. Very similar to Joel burping and saying "compliments to the chef".

Joel, I think you needed a spoon instead of the fork, lol. Nico seems to be a good guy for this challenge. His knowledge of the poutine seems to be a big help for you. Congrats on the win!
This is my favorite meal! Much like the high school football player and homecoming queen, the videos that you share the food-suffering with an enjoyable person they are so good!
We already know by now what Joel's max in lbs he can eat. Anymore it's just like watching a mukbang 😄 But having guest on trying to do the same challenge his channel has stepped its game up. Keep the guest coming. Well done.
Ya, I dunno about that deluxe style poutine. Way too much going on there. Definitely not for me. I'd go with traditional style poutine, hands down. Incredible job once again Mr. Hansen!
One of the reasons I’ve loved watching you for years is that you have great table manners. Valiant effort by Nico, but I wouldn’t be able to watch his videos, as he chews with his mouth open, makes me feel queasy and I have to look away. Keep up the awesome eating, the awesome manners, and the awesome smile!

What the heck kind of poutine was THAT?! Poutine is good fries, good cheese curds and decent gravy. Delicious! University of Ottawa students canNOT survive without it.
