Biden announces fresh set of tariffs on Chinese goods: White House

美, 중국산 전기차 관세 25→100%•태양전지 25→50%로 대폭인상
The Biden Administration has announced a fresh set of tariffs on Chinese goods ahead of November's presidential election.
The White House announced on Tuesday that President Biden has quadrupled tariffs on electric vehicles from China from the current 25 percent to 100 percent.
Tariffs on key items such as steel and aluminum as well as lithium-ion EV batteries were also raised to 25 percent, and solar cells and semiconductors to 50 percent.
The new measures are set to impact 18 billion U.S. dollars worth of goods imported from China.
