Absolutely best character in pokemon if you read her entire arc as an allegory for alchoholism/drug addiction and how it messes up a family. That story is so criminally underrated.

This is 1000 times better than the Sun and Moon version. I honestly was never a fan of this theme when I played Moon for the first time. I loved listening to this though. :)

Lusamine was one of my favorite villians since she had alot of reason behind her evil deeds. Alot of it grief from certain events. (~No spoilers~) She does alot of bad things that are horrifying to us but can easily be explained by her grief and the effect of the Ultra Beasts. Her manipulative and bad deeds all focus on her not wanting to loss the things she loves. She just went down and got lost on the wrong path to protect it. Honestly she is one of the most developed villians outside of Lysandre, Cyrus, and Guzma.

As a villain, she had a lot of potential to be one of the greatest, but she fell short in being actually threatening to battle, and had a massive missed opportunity to use that corrupt form in battle.
what made it insulting was how her villainy was toned all the way down in the ultra games, and worse was kept that way for the anime.
Sadly this was a sign of things to come, since really Chairman rose was even more pathetic in terms of villainy, honestly i don't even know if you can even call any of the antagonists in Galar evil... They're monty python evil
Perhaps the creator thinks that evil mother is too much for smaller kids, so they downgraded her villain characteristics gradually.

I don't know what I did to my Mismagus (probably being 10 lvls higher) but she practically took out all of her team in one go. Never expected her to be that strong even though its against NPCs.
I had really hoped there would have been a connection in the story as to why she and Pheromosa look basically identical. Not just them but Guzma~Xurkitree, Gladion~Buzzwole (I understand that Lusamine started having Lillie dress like Nihilego intentionally but the others can't just have the excuse of coincidences).
