mia saying she felt like she learned so much from tilda by seeing her play two drastically different roles and then going on to do the very same in x is just so satisfying in retrospect. she really must have learned a lot because her performance as maxine and pearl is just outstanding.
The thumbnail for this video is actually two pictures of Dakota and Mia cropped together, don't wanna call it misleading but it's still misleading, since Mia was interviewed alone
Luca is amazing..his admiration for Dario and others directors makes me feel like he is so like us ... like, just another fan who takes an opportunity to honor his idols..and he did.
@@randomguy6679 looking at Argento’s filmography over the last.. oh.. idk 20 years I don’t think I would give his opinions about new films much thought
I hope he does the trilogy. I'm a fan of the original. I don't get why people hate this...BUT I also used to be a dancer. Anyway. This movie is amazing
There is a crazy meta-statement in this film... it is reflected in the issue of state power and indigenous dissent... in the reality of one person's talent having such gravity as to be read as naked power and the desire by others to control that power... reflected in a twisted tables-turned gender tableau. I've seen the movie at least 4 times... I own a dvd copy... and having just recently watched it... forgot completely that Mia Goth was in it. I was not very aware of her work and had no name to put to the face. Watching the film again... I was struck by the weight of Mia's character and portrayal... next to which the supposed star of the picture could barely pull a bramble. I found myself so invested in this humble little angel... that at a certain point i had to turn off the vid. And then later... hours later... I realized that I had gone thru the same series of revelations each time I watched the film... only this time... despite having already seen the thing... I was unable to watch it further. The impact of the film and that performance had quietly disturbed me so thoroughly... that I had put the thing from my mind... I had sacrificed the memory of this actor's performance for the sake of some cheaply purchased peace of mind. The impact of the film had an accumulating effect on me. I remember watching Children of Men 14 times in a single month. But no film has ever caused me to block it out of my memory for its impact.
This interviewer brought Tilda Swinton up WAY too much. Actually ASK the actors and director more about idk, the ACTUAL FILM THEY’RE ON PRESS FOR? Gosh I mean I get it but dang he asked pretty much the same exact question to all three of them. Stfu about Tilda and ask them about the film they created! 🙄

Mia is such a sweetheart! Hearing her screams in Suspiria was sooo unsettling in the theatres!!!
I've seen Suspiria many times now and to me that's still the hardest part of the movie to watch, even more so than Olga's scene actually.
moviebuff1275 That scream was so well done, she’s a superb actress.
Oh yes pls luca did a fantastic remaking the movie and a lot of people are loving it and i dont see any trouble why luca cannot direct a sequel
Those screams haunt me till this day
Luca has become in my top 3 most favorite directors. I'll watch anything he makes.
Same.. he rank in my 1 right now..

0:44, the sequence of drinking water and squinting the eyes, by Dakota.

I agree
And Dario somehow hated what he did with his vision

I wasn’t expecting this to feel like a David Lynch movie but it did
Luckily it made more sense than a David Lynch movie
@@MarinaAndTheDevil lol
I do kind of hope there will be a continuation to this movie

@@michaelhirshberg6773 it would be amazing if he remade the entire trilogy but made the universe even more interconnected than Argento did.
sebastian hale I do. It would be pointless recreating all the movies if he didn’t build upon the story connections.
how can you be literally everywhere
Her name is Goth? That's amazing. That's like an ice cream man named Cone.
Her names mia
i'm sure it's her stage name, not her real name
@@notimportant3686 It's actually her real name, Mia Gypsy Mello da Silva Goth. Some people just lucky before they even born
@@wolfmare4239 Silva like Mrs Silva in Silent Hill, wow
My favorite part of the movie was Mia Goth

"Sweet Girl. What do you ask?"

Shia is one lucky guy.... Mia got some kinda vibe to her. Can't figure it out exactly but it's there 100%
She is strong and fragile at the same time. She is special. She is a great actress and a charming person. I'm sure she's gonna be really BIG.
Both Suspirias are sooooo good.
I love Mia. She can easily play Toni Collette's daughter or younger sister )))
Mia is adorable
And a little bit creepy. I love that shit.
@@steepsort6905 Exactly!
I love Dakota's Capricorn ascendant vibes...
There is life after 50 shades
The best movie of 2018 hands down!
Im in love with mia goth's voice 😆
Mia personally is like the bbf that every girl has had at one point in their life.
