It's kinda weird that he aged to begin with. It is said that Astartes aren't supposed to age in some sources, but in other instances, they clearly do (Sigismund, for example).
It's a thing to consider, but also worth mentioning is that Primarchs aren't just Super Space Marines (those are the Primaris). They're weird, and the least removed from the Emperor's weirdness. Reversing aging of a Primarch is probably not a trivial thing.
@@justwannabehappy6735Astartes do age slowly, really slowly... like atleast 2-3k years before you see them look like in their 50's. I hope we get another soon; this more seasoned Lion is proving to be a pretty cool character).
I'm pretty sure that Primarchs aren't supposed to age at all, his "aging" is simply a reflection of how he feels. All the Primarchs have "things" they're capable of that they don't realize (warp related "things"), but to my knowledge, only Corvus (basically) has realized his potential and the Lion is next in line in regard to realizing what he can do--like his discovery of forest walk.

@@timhorsburgh2193 well considering that they didn’t need endless translators when they showed up I’m pretty sure they speak the same language. And it’s just funnier to think of that along with the son named Wolf Wolf big E also has a son named lion forest
It’s interesting how the CSM still refers to him as “my lord.” Guy at least still knows his manners.
I like to believe chaos marines, especially ancient ones hold some kind of respect (special hatred) for the Primarchs
What would make it interesting is if the Lion's "age" was more due to him subconsciously perceiving himself as old
At least he went out with a laugh (and a bang) 😂😂😂😂
I'm just facepalming at the fact that pretty much any Imperial noble could help him out. There are a LOT of ways to reverse aging in the Imperium if you have the money.
It's kinda weird that he aged to begin with. It is said that Astartes aren't supposed to age in some sources, but in other instances, they clearly do (Sigismund, for example).
@@justwannabehappy6735 Ya it's just... such a fixable problem for one in his position.
(but majority of them rarely get to atleast 1k, excluding the ones on dreadnought)
But I guess the reason he aged was him not being in a stasis chamber, unlike Gulliman? and he was gone for what 11k years.
@@shadeofsound23I agree, most medicines and everything are just pointless on a primarch, as their biology is naturally better than most treatment.
At the same time, it probably resists a lot of it, considering most medicines are a type of poison, and primarchs are notoriously hard to poison.
It’d probably resist most of the changes, if they could even break his skin with the equipment.
"Haha, you are simply so old."
"may be old, yet with many experience."
"What would that be?"
(lionel request a belt selection) "PICK."
"WAIT, WAIT, WAIT I'LL TALK, I'LL TALK!!
"You got old!"
"But you won't..."
Your voice impression of the chaos space marine was so good
And the gunshot at the end 😂
man that Chaos boy went Joker in the end
That final shot was definitely zabrial because he was simply offended on his father’s behalf
lion: Why are you still young!!!
Guiliman: Stasis by Maybelline Cosmetics
To be fair, this encounter happened relatively early on in the book. Lion started out with amnesia and not even knowing who he was. I think after a 10k year nap, we can forgive him for being a little stiff. By the end of the book, he had shaken the rust off and was back to wrecking face as usual. Still, this was a great scene (there was a fair bit of humor in that book but it was well-placed and landed well.
"Hah you old"
Lion:🤔😮😡
going out with a heartfell cackle even at the sight of the lion...what a madlad
It sounds like a light-hearted taunt despite it being from a chaos space marine
Chaos marine:. Im gonna die but at least i can make sure you don't enjoy it.
The guy still has that "10,000 year long nap" grogginess, lol
OLD LION STILL ROARS
I remember there was a part where he says that, as he is now, Konrad would've killed him.
The voice acting this guy does is phenomenal
Respect… the guy knew he was dead and decided to go out with a joke.
I like the fact that the Chaos Marine called him "My Lord." it kind of implies that no matter what else is going on, all Astartes, even the traitors, respect how amazingly deadly the Lion is.
You know the first thought going through that mans head as the lion revealed his identity was 'well s**t'
I wonder what will happen the the Lion and Guilliman meet. The epic argument they will have with their sons watching from the sidelines as their fathers argue about if guilliman has a anti aging device and him repeatedly denying it.
Bro really said DAM YOUR OLD
"You simply got old! I mean literally got old! Ain't no chaos tomfoolery or psykic magecraft cursed on to you, you are literally, biologically OLD!"
Chaos Space Marine: "Wait, what? That just sounds like Arthritis."
Chaos gods watching this cracking up saying "give that guy a medal when he gets here."
I love how the Emperor engineered male pattern baldness into the Lion.
Hey, even a Chaos Marine still calls him "My Lord"
What a way to go out roasting a demigod
Taunted? Dude just made a respectful observation. "What did you do to me, why my bones crunchy??" "Bruh youre old as fuck"
Ok... Good work on voice acting. Especially for Chaos Space Marine.
The Lion wakes up, slaughters heretics, reforms the Dark Angels, then checks his 401k. Realizes it only a 40k after inflation!
They couldn’t have him young he’d be OP as fuck
I would be a little confused too if I was an imortal demi god of war but got the short stick when robot girlyman got the stasis field and anime waifu
He laughed like the Joker
