Josh Prevost what? This song is unfinished yes but it still gives off what he would always do with songs he actually put out when he was alive. And this track was recorded on May 18th 2018 around the time Bad!, Member Nothing! Which is unreleased, wait long enough and before I realise was made. He passed like a month after that and it still would’ve been a while until he even got back to that track as he was working on glass shards, staring at the sky, one minute, ready set go and some self made beats and samples at the time.

personally I feel like the fact that this is so incomplete and clearly not finished is the exact reason why it should have been the last song in the album. I feel it literally explains the title with the fact that X could’ve finished it but “it faded to black too early”. i’ve been playing instruments and stuff for a decade so I understand the concept of like song making and structure and all that. so overall I can see why he wanted to scrap the song but if they did put it in it would’ve ended the album pretty perfectly because of the story behind it

Trippie, PnB, Tory Lanez, Noah Cyrus, KillStation, Craig Xen, Ikabod, Joyner Lucas, and Joey Badass were all his homies The song Voss was already a finished song by X and Sauce Walka, they just added Carnage to fix up the beat and remaster the vocals X said Lil Wayne inspired him, He wanted to make a song wit Tom G bcz he was a hometown hero, and Blink-182 was one of X’s fav bands. And in Royalty, X had Ky Mani Marley on it, and he looked up to Vybz Kartel. So the only features that weren’t X’s Choices are Kemba, Rick Ross, Mavado, Jimmy Levy, and Stefflon Don, and they killed their verses anyway. Wit that bein said, I rest my case

personally I feel like the fact that this is so incomplete and clearly not finished is the exact reason why it should have been the last song in the album. I feel it literally explains the title with the fact that X could’ve finished it but “it faded to black too early”. i’ve been playing instruments and stuff for a decade so I understand the concept of like song making and structure and all that. so overall I can see why he wanted to scrap the song but if they did put it in it would’ve ended the album pretty perfectly because of the story behind it

Unfortunately BVF was the final album they’re gonna release, or at least that’s what they said.
@@huntersmith8952 last official album but we will prob get a lot of songs that arent on the big streaming plats(think in the end for example) and maybe a new song or couple along side the doc as the official soundtrack. and then maybe a couple more solo tracks but mostly features after that.

tbh, y’all trippin, BVF was amazing, and I enjoyed it crazy, and most the features were X’s Friends and Inspirations. Trippie, PnB, Tory Lanez, Noah Cyrus, KillStation, Craig Xen, Ikabod, Joyner Lucas, and Joey Badass were all his homies
The song Voss was already a finished song by X and Sauce Walka, they just added Carnage to fix up the beat and remaster the vocals
X said Lil Wayne inspired him, He wanted to make a song wit Tom G bcz he was a hometown hero, and Blink-182 was one of X’s fav bands.
And in Royalty, X had Ky Mani Marley on it, and he looked up to Vybz Kartel.
So the only features that weren’t X’s Choices are Kemba, Rick Ross, Mavado, Jimmy Levy, and Stefflon Don, and they killed their verses anyway.
