No, in DDP shipment terms your freight forwarders takes care of everything. They are responsible for clearing customs. You just need to pay your freight forwarder whatever amount they quote you, that amount is inclusive of custom duty charges.

When I asked the supplier (China) that what kind of documents they need from our end to ship the items to us.... They replied as below stated.....
"You do not need to provide documents. Express delivery will be delivered to your company or home.
This service is door-to-door and you do not need to customs clearance. In order to handle everything, the Courier will send the package to you."

Not true if you are importing via lcl. Each HSN has a tax slab and Any other taxes will be known.
