thanks for the inspiration man! i was trying to find a way, and you made the build even better then i had in mind. Jikan is a great class, and you made it so much more fun for me to play it🙏
That's awesome to hear! I was really confused with Jikan until i removed ALL SINISTROS and just focused on owl generation, with the astral build you get some crazy stats by turn 3 lol
For some Goddamned reason I thought that its necessary to fully fill up the deck. All that time I was struggling to get the spells I need in hand. I feel so stupid now seeing that you can just drop the cards you don't actually need
Much appreciated!! The most exciting thing about this game is all of the builds that are possible. I will make guides whenever I have enough experience with a class!
I’d recommend grabbing the “pendulum” class skill. (+1 reserve AP “rewind”) You have more than enough card draw to add one more spell. It lets you store unused AP, or do a controlled release of owl auras when you don’t need 5 auras to kill.
Yes Pendulum is a really good addition, especially if youre not focusing massive jikan flight turns you can get a bunch of smaller owl releases off consistently~
im so glad seeing another variety build for jikan, i have fully build lv50 jikan with single target burst + aoe nuclear build (mono fire), but sometime i got bored because of the gameplay it self
You're welcome! What's great about this build is how easy it is to switch to any priority owl. For example. Add fire sinistro and switch to the oiled armband and now u have a SUPER AOE build
I hope your doing well on this videos. Cant wait for more builds :D I'm waiting for a sniper kind of build.. Tryed the jump-jump xelor but the passive scaling whit atack kinda mess up the style I wanted.. Maybe the schotgun cra?
I WISH man if you could do a guide on the Glaive Stalaktoss. I like the class but its kinda hard to figure it out. Please if you got the time, do a guide on it. Great work on this one too, you've earned a sub.
I have been working on builds but i'm coming up a bit short! I think the build is pretty weak until 30 then it becomes a monster. Taking the passives that ignore dephasing -50% attack and armor when you dephase through an enemy are your priority. Then you would focus rings giving you attack. I had a build going earth/water to use the geyser ring so I could apply even more shields to my character. I will work hard on getting Stalaktoss to 30 so I can really show the character
@@Thriftshoppin Im on the right path, kinda hehe. I got it to level 37 so far. I got everything you said but the spells. This is where i lack imagination 😂. Moved to playin this xelor for the time being
hmm what xelor subclass do you think could use mono fire the best? jikan, tako or pramium? i love the fire animations for xelor and wanna make a build around it but i dont like the melee playstyle of the other 2
Jikan can ramp fire owls really really quick and use jikan flight to unleash a bunch of fire damage. Tako gets some good character specific cards to do AoE too
Some items ive been running with this build: - scarifyer for the sustain - limit ring cause i feel i can play around it - decrepit champion for some extra mobility for the popping off turns - khan karkass cause i like him hahaha Any thoughts and recomendations?
Scarifyer is definitely some good sustain, I'd consider going the S'ardine armband if you want more sustain. It gives armor based on health. You would be sacrificing your element armband but you'd get something around 75-100 armor per attack at later levels. Limit ring is super cool and could bring some interesting turns depending on what element gets the boost Decrepit champion is absolutely fine. I still think you should have Lil Thorn or some other draw capability there "Just in case". It would be a rough time just waiting for cards. Khan Karkass is kickass, cant go wrong with him!
I don't have a guide but please check out @ultimalordknight he has a great video explaining his Orishi Push build. Link to the video: ruclips.net/video/7XuF1T4FojE/видео.htmlsi=M5N2hb8qDGRjohCF
I've been running a 15 card build around noprob, water orb, and blood orb focusing on blue magic. The blue owl lets me cast more spells in a turn while healing me, meaning I reduce the cost of blood orb and water orb significantly. I spend the game using this to gain as many blue owls as possible to keep myself alive and keep spell slinging, no prob refreshes my hand so I don't have to worry about consistency and I'm actually more likely to draw into my useful cards than in a 9 card deck because of it.If I need extra damage I can turn my blue owls into any other owl with cheap elemental effect cards, and once blood orb and water orb cost 0 that's two enemies dead for free. It feels insane at level 20, but I feel like my build is gonna fall off later in the game because of the cost of upgrading blood orb and water orb, along with the fact that I don't think either spell scales with damage into the late game when fighting opponents with health in the thousands when I get there. By far the most fun I've had so far though.
Blood orb is an interesting idea! Most people are running mono water for end game content for the same reasons you mention. Free AP reduction + heals from water owls is incredible.
So I tried this and I wanna tell you what i think at i changed this a bit and I wanna share it. This is gonna be detailed so, read if you want. As much as I like the idea I find some things not optimal: 1) you don't need to rely on ventilated state so much, cause the order of the spells can give you the owl aura you need in every situation. So the weapon is a little bit of an overthinking in my opinion. 2) We don't really need Az cause we spread astral like crazy due to passive chosen. 3) yes you get astral plus that ring synergy but the longer the fight goes, the less astral you will have cause you kill them. So you wanna keep them alive but the goal is to kill them. Basically this forces you a bit to focus the stronger guy. Otherwise you "lose" power later...I mean you got the point even if less important than the other two. So I thought. What if, I consume astral. I keep Az and now it makes sense, cause I dont use the passive that spreads elemental states but the one that triggers quintessens instead. In combination with a new weapon that consumes astral (there is only one, I am not good with names). This is the general idea, inspired by this video, than using this concept, you can do what you want and use your creativity. I like this cause everytime I cansume an astral, I generate twilight ( that is basically a rebound without you needing to have your enemies grouped up) and if this twilight hits an enemy with an elemental state on it, it gets shadow (+50%damage on next damage taken by that enemy). I personally generate gouges too, with this. So ty for reading, I hope you enjoyed it
do owls count as spells? If not how do u scale it? cuz i think i'm missing something xp Editing to also make a request: I'm loving this build but I play with a friend alot wich leads to me sometimes not getting full value from owls, so wanted to ask is u could do a build for the mage that transforms unused energy into reserves (sorry not online and don't remember the name xp)
Spell damage affects the owls. You can see this once you're level 15 easily. Your first passive gives 10% extra spell damage per owl aura. So when you use Jikan Flight and release all owls, the effect continues to decrease in power (since you have less owls on that specific owl activation)
You really helped me understand the effects and value owls bring, thanks for the vid!
Absolutely! Glad you got something out of the vid

Haha you only need 9 to make the deck valid! And if you have some draw setup you can cycle your cards pretty fast making some decks very consistent
Thanks for an English guide, keep them coming...earned a new sub

Hey, I am playing a Fire Crit Jikan. This guide's spot on describing the Jikan class. By any chance, do you understand how Sinistros works?

Why isn't some of these class skill cards available for Pvp? Like Jikan Flight for example
Nice dude! keep it up with this content. Right now you got the upper hand cuz you could be the only one doing it in english tho.
