Angry yelling. Like the kind of yelling that you can only really describe as “violent” because all the usual words just don’t fit.
Anger management issues aren’t manly or “alpha” or any of that dumb crap; it’s terrifying and makes women absolutely sure that you’d hurt them.

It's bc of this that as a guy I hate being near any women, I avoid them as much as possible bc I feel like i'm being judged as a potential threat. Sometimes it's unavoidable and i'm passing by someone in an alleyway and I just gotta try and look as inconspicuous as I can in the hopes that they don't feel threatened. It's even worse when it's dark and i'm walking behind them i'm like "I want to pass her so she knows i'm not following her but if I speed up that would be scary". So I opt to cross the road or slow down just to make them feel safer!
Do you have any advice on what I can do in situations like that? Although being as anxious as I am around humans in general I understand it may not even be possible, I get danger vibes whenever I see a man or a woman behind me along a path.

If a man literally jokes about killing cats. It's one thing to not be a cat person (I don't even understand that cats vs dogs competition, I love both pets, I just don't have dogs because I love them. Weird logic, but I simply don't have the conditions for a dog, and cats are equally cute.) , but if you joke about killing or torturing animals, or if you have a book that is called "how to cook a cat/dog" , then I yeet you the fuck out of my life. People have favourites in pets, I get it, but joking about killing pets is a big red flag. You don't hear me joke about killing your pet tarantula, if you have a pet tarantula either.

I wish men understood how hyper aware women have to be. Go to the corner store alone at night? Nope. Walk down an empty street with one man walking towards you from ANY direction. Maybe not. Etc. Remember that sexual assault is not about sex; it’s about intimidation and power just like other forms of violence. And words can definitely be violent.

Feeling unsafe is not something exclusive to woman. Guys also known the feeling of creeping out ever so rarely from woman but mostly from other guys and there are men that are also feeling uneasy of going out at night. This does include even 6 foot 5 and above large dudes.
Meanwhile, that feeling of unsafety physical or verbal sexual harasment is much more rare compared to woman it is not something completely unknown to men. Most of the creepy guys that are creepy to you might also be uneasy for no creep guys to be around. There is a reason they used to be outcast.

Male can partially relate with opposite gender with the feeling of being creeped out but I think it is the other way around that woman never know what to be a man with the paranoia of creeping someone out just by being exist. It felt like being a pest to hide out just to not potentially creeping out someone which does also take a tool but almost never being talked.
You happen to be only person taking that street at night. Your thoughts might be “what should I do not coming across as a serial killer”, “should I change the street”, “should I outrun or rather slow my phase”. And if you happen to take care of your own child, some random people might call cops on you just so there is a chance it that may not be your own child and you might be a pedophilia that just kidnapped. Meanwhile a woman are welcomed to spend time kids and no one thinks of her as pedophilia. Even when it is not their own child. Same applies for securities on events and cops. Strangers of all kind from both gender are more afraid, paranoid and on guard, just with the mindset of “better to be false positive than sorry" approach. The approach, variety of stranger feel entitled and feeling justified to treat someone they do not even know as some sort of menace. Therefor if you happen to take care of your own child, people might call cops on you, just incase there is an odd that you might be pedophilia kidnapped that child rather than a father. The risk of false alarm with that kind of behavior? Screw that. You are born with a dick, you are meant to suck it up to being mistakenly treated that way for your lifetime with the "better being safe than sorry" kind of logic. That is what woman can not relate with man.
Dating? If you are going to parting ways the guy more likely than the girl to be just ghosted instead of having the decency of bothering to tell "Let's not meet". If you are a guy, you are considered to be a jerk if you are giving mixed signals or parting ways via ghosting the girl without a word. But if it is the other way around, it is justified/normalised just incase there is the odds of the guy that might turn out to be a creep.

@@koray6261 guys feeling "a little creeped out" is nothing compared to the fear women face every day. Yes, it's true, men can be assaulted as well. But women are much more vulnerable in that area. Do you understand how hard it is for a woman to fight off a horny man? Most women fight back with all their might and still don't succeed. A woman is more likely to be drugged and taken advantage of than a man. Like I said, men can experience these things to a degree, but it is nothing like what a woman goes through. And if you think it is, you're part of the problem.

@@koray6261 You said it yourself, its RARE. But women have safety tips to defend themselves from men, ingrained in them from childhood.
Women literally have to become borderline body language experts and psychologists just so they can watch out for any sign of danger from men and the saddest part is, men from their own family or friend circles are part these violent and dangerous men that they have to look out for.
For women, all of this is not rare by any means, its so frequent that it becomes a normal part of our lives and becomes a subconscious thing, sometimes we don't even realize we are being hyper aware because it feels normal.

One time when I went to the bathroom he went through my bag and read through my diary (I know thats dumb but I was like 8) and I managed to catch him only one time. He said it was so he could learn more about me so I would like him more, since I refused to talk to him (he was creepy even before this and would constantly ignore any boundaries I gave). The license plate one gives me bad memories. When I was 10, my parents opened a kiosk in our tiny mall that went on for 5 months. Since my siblings & I are homeschooled, we would come with our parents to work and walk laps around the mall together since it was so tiny. There was this elderly mall walker named Henry who would buy a hotdog from our concession kiosk everyday and sit at the tables we had set up behind the place. One day he started acknowledging our presence and we would exchange hi's & byes. This went on for a couple months during the holidays until January came around. He started sitting closer to us and began having longer conversations with us, which started to make me feel uncomfortable. Whenever he would see my sister (she was 6 at the time) or me, he stayed talking for like 3 hours before heading home & for some odd reason we gave him hugs like he was our own grandpa. One time he tried to kiss me, and that's when the line was crossed. We tried to avoid him for the remainder of our time at the mall until one day when our grandmother dropped us off my the side entrance instead of the usual so we would meet up with our mother & not run into him. This didn't work, and next thing we know after he leaves the mall, we hear from our sister that he was behind of our grandmother's van with a piece of paper & a pen. Our parents talked to the mall's manager & contacted the police and trespassed him from the mall. He died about a year later, but I still get paranoid to this day and very hesitant towards old men 😳

Honestly should have gotten the police involve because that's outright stalker behavior. Her information is there for her dog to be returned to her. Not for him to behave like a creep. If a person ain't interested in giving you their number or information then leave them ALONE. And don't you dare grab their pets. If you don’t want creepy guys to sit next to you, then here is a simple trick: put a purse or anything really, a jacket, bag on the seat next to you. Btw, only do this when it’s not crowded. If it is, it wouldn’t be nice. If it’s not crowded and there are many seats available and they specifically come to sit next to you, tell them there are many seats available, that you are keeping that one for a friend who will join you after a few stations, that you are having a cold and you wouldn’t want someone to get it, make up something. If you have headphones, wear them, look at your phone, pretend you don’t know they are talking to you. I know it’s harsh that we have to do those things, but this is the reality. Once, when I was little, a creepy older man tried to touch me on the bus. The bus was crowded, but not to the point he would have to make contact with me. He blocked me in a corner and pretend to lose balance and bump into me all the time. Just take care, speak up for yourself and be cautious❤️

I accidentally said something creepy to a guy once, mind it I'm a girl and a kid this guy was my dads friend and an adult, I said "Welcome to our lair of your not leaving for a while" I didn't mean it in a creepy way as my family is a bunch of nerds and people who enter usually get distracted by our gaming stuff and don't leave for a while, and so I kind of stated that... I can see why it was creepy but it was kind of funny too

Wow too many creepy guys in the world as a man I told my sister & female cousins don't go anywhere you feel uncomfortable or isolated with anybody you know let alone first met thank God that girl in the woods is okay I'd be real mad as her brother for following him in there that's a no no!! fine I get it she's safe but that's still risking your life for a nice visual site of the city sorry but that is not worth ur life ❤ if you wonder why I am like that trust me I'm not controlling I went to school with a kid who's sister was found in the woods she unfortunately was not safe & 30 years later nobody was charged for her murder! so ladies please never do this & stay safe 🙏 ❤

if I'm meeting someone for the first time it's 100% in public, a few times I went on a date and he bought me a drink then when I was leaving tried to make me go back to his coz he want's sexual favours for buying me a drink, I went to the bathroom to calm down and when I seen him talking to someone else I snuck out of the place we were in and went home, luckily for me I live in a block of flats

Whenever they like get touchy(if I barely know you), they look at you weird or with a perverted look, and ESPECIALLY when they stare when you don’t know them. I had an incident where I was walking in meijer to find my mom. (for context, I was ten.)I was walking past a guy who was staring at me from like 20 feet away. I smiled at him because he was in a wheelchair and I felt bad. I walk past him, think I saw my mom in an aisle, and turn around, only to see the guy(where he was before). Taking a picture of me. I was freaking out and bolted to the registers, where I found my mom and was holding in tears so I don’t make a scene. We’re walking to an exit, AND I SEE THE DUDE WAITING BY THE DOOR. I tell my mom that’s him and then I started crying again. We went out the other door. We got to the car, and I was having a mental breakdown because of how scared I was. I feared that he would find me again, especially because I used to dance at a dance studio. She told me he probably was taking a picture of a product or something, and since he is in a wheelchair he was waiting for his ride. I didn’t believe the first one, and half believed the second.
