I met Mr Weatherall at Club UK one friday night,we were both totally nutted,chatted codshit for a half hour,then he said,"I'm off now,watch this!" and proceeded to throw his record box down the stairs,then the bouncers "asked" him to leave. Top bloke.

Sabres made me to listen to Andy.
I have some feelings of guilt since I'm finally really exploring his work after his passing, I only knew bits and pieces before that. It's better late than never. RIP to a Hacienda legend.

@Koinonia - I understand... I was only just getting into his work a year or so before that happened, so I was quite dismayed that I'd never get to see him play live.
However, there is many years of material and live mixes to catch up on, which I'm sure he will appreciate, wherever he is :)

RIP, came back after hearing about his passing.
I saw him in SYDNEY on the weekend. I've seen many many DJs and I have never been taken away like that before. AMAZING. He played a 7 hour set and I danced every minute. Unparalleled! Just nothing nothing nothing like it! If you get a chance, go see him play. You will find a new dimension in music.

Seen him play half a dozen times. It's electronic music & art combined. But his Techno sets are unreal.
