I was using hard rubbers with the matador texa carbon and I was missing way too many shots. The best combination for this wood, on the FH side is fastarc g1, fastarc c1 or any rubber with a sponge hardness of 45 to 48 degrees.

Actually I was changing the forehand rubber, I miss a lot forehand shots this game, and at this level of competition you cannot miss that oportunities balls, that's why I changed to a hybrid rubber after this game.

@leonardo: I want to try a blade from the Matador series with my OX pips. Can you tell me if the Backhand of the regular Texa model is slower than the BH from the Texa Carbon? Or is just the FH faster?
And how is the feeling on the FH side, I am searching for the one with a little bit softer (even though both blades are very stiff) touch

You have a very solid game, but in my opinion, you need to attack more with long pimples. Currently your backhand is very defensive and when you attack, because you use OX, the wood has a lot of control but cannot provide much speed, your opponents have time to pass the ball to you. To counteract this you would need to change the wood for a symmetrical one that has carbon fiber on both sides and is very fast and light such as the Yinhe Balsa T-11s, Timo Boll ALC, or similar. That way, when you attack your opponent, the wood will give you the speed you need and the ball will go fast, downward and with a reversal of spin. Your opponent won't have time to think about anything. He will just act on instinct and miss the point. If you think that having greater speed will make the ball go off the table, this is not the case. The OX rubber takes away energy from the ball in the middle of its path. / Also, if you stop playing so tensely on your backhand and completely relax your arm, (sometimes even cushioning the ball by bringing the racket back) you will also allow the pimples to do their job for you and your rivals will almost certainly lose the point. Matador texa Carbon is a fast blade, even the backhand side, it has hard outer plies, so the speed is present all the time and the reversal increased because of the hardness of the first ply of wood

Otherwise players would use that side with their inverted rubbers and they don't. Before writing nonsense, watch this video and any other on RUclips and compare speeds. Now, if you want to continue living in YOUR own alternate universe, be happy to do so but please don't confuse people with your illusions.
