  • Travelling Australia meant our love for being out on the water had to be sacrificed, or so we thought! We couldn't leave to travel Australia without a boat there to many coastlines that need to be explored as we make our way around our stunning country!
    Our love for fishing saw us finding a way to custom build the racks for our Qunitrex Explorer and fit-out for the entire ute to cater for our weight restrictions. Overall we estimate this entire fitout (including fuel & all the other extra bits for the tinny) has roughly come to 110-120kg.
    It easy, lightweight, stylish and one of a kind! Let us know your thoughts and share your must see fishing spots!
    Stay tuned right to the end, we christened the Tinny and Cory finally caught one of his top five fish (You can hear his excitement, Hahaha!)
    We have tried to cover all the common questions that we have received from both our Facebook and Instagram page for you all, but if we have missed anything please feel free to drop a comment!
    Cheers C&C!!

    How do you go with flex between cab body and Ute tub.
    Looks like a solid mount between the two...
    Not a good thing long term as you will get cracks

    • @cncroadtrips6415
      @cncroadtrips6415  2 года назад

      Hey mate great question, Cory fabricated this with the flex in mind. We have the two brackets mounted to the roof racks on the rear then the front of the boat secured down on the front roof rack.
      A few years in and we’ve had no cracks or dramas with this we’re quiet happy with it, if we do have any issues Cory can either fabricate something new up or repair it as he’s a boilermaker by trade.

    Nice setup! Just a question on the engine size for this tinnie. Specs on the 250 Quintrex Explorer says max hp is 5hp. Did you have an upgrade on the hull to take a 9.9hp engine? Cheers.
