There is no "drive belt." CD players, 99% (100%?) of the time, are spun via a direct-drive motor. Now I have seen audiophile geared devices that try to market a belt-driven CD player as "better." This is a complete falsehood. If they even exist, a belt-driven CD player would, if not instantaneously, then at least over the course of the next few months or years (at best) shred the everloving shit out of whatever belt that drives it due to the speed at which CDs are read. There is absolutely no benefit to this technology being applied to a digital media where alignment of the playback laser to the disc needs to be consistent and precise at a high speed. Anything marketing itself as such needs to be avoided.
Thanks, but you skipped the key steps of getting the door out and changing the belt!
I love really quick fixes like these, in and out in 5 minutes, up and running again, it's not "R1" it's RI, stands for Remote Interactive.
Nice video , I have the Onkyo DX -c330 and it skips maybe every 30 seconds and I know the cd is good. Any suggestions ? Thanks
Hi. What is the name of the remont control for Onkyo Dx 7210.
no idea it didn't have one.
@@KarmaElectronics. Go to the PDF of the model's manual, they always tell you what remote shipped with it.
not always, sometimes the manual only shows you a picture of the remote, not the model number@@clemsonbloke
You didn't show how to get to the drive belt!
