I am new to the hobby and have over 30 African cichlids in a 75 gallon. From my understanding, the salt rocks should help increase the PH. However, I was told that information. I don’t know if it is a fact or not.

I drill the rocks and put fiberglass rods through them. It allows you to stack higher with no danger of them falling or moving. I buy the reflectors from Lowe's and use the rods off of them.
That's the way you do it. Only thing that I would recommend is filling it with Tank water. Otherwise it's exactly what I would do. Can't wait for the New fish from the swap.
I dont do African cichlids except for Polleni, red jewel,Buttikoferi cichlids and dat seem like a lot of fish in a 72 gallon aquarium cause as they get bigger u will need a massive aquarium 180 n above, but scape is nice and r its really about what u like👍👍👍👍👍on the video
So so so dope! I was thinking as I watched you add your fish that it could use some more blue ones and then you said it lol. Peacocks and haps have a lot of color. Have you considered any of them? Your thumbnail is showing more red than I noticed when you added them. Maybe some more red too?

Hey fam, is that salt water rock new or used? I’m asking cause I have some of that same rock I had in a salt tank about a year ago that I wanna use in my African Cichlid tank. I’ve rinsed it pretty thoroughly and it’s been sittin around for about year and I’m wondering if it’s “too salty” for a tank I wanna set up with.
