I have a samsung with the french doors fridge and sliding door freezer on the bottom, bought it 5-6 years ago first time this has happened, water freezing below baskets then melting out to the floor, going to try your method, I just don't know if its the water freezing in the evaportarer because the heater is not melting the ice enough to allow the water to drain down the drain tube. Any way I will try and let you kown what happens. Cheers .

      🚨THE PERMANENT FIX!!!🚨
(To prevent the drain from getting clogged with ice, in the first place, causing the problem)
"You need to install a, Thick heavy Gauge Copper wire🧷🛒📎🖇 or (A Wire clothes hanger) into the drain hole 9 or 12 inches. Then bend the wire into a Hook, and clip it directly Onto the "HEATING ELEMENT/The Dark tube running under the cooling finns" (3:35).
      :Explanation
"When your refrigerator Cycles through the (AUTO DEFROST MODE) The Heating element will get hot, ♨️ And the residual heat will travel down the "Copper Drain Wire" and this keeps the drain hole just warm enough for all the water to completely exit the freezing section of the refrigerator into the warmer fridge section, thus preventing any buildup of ice to form."💎
      Good Luck!
"After I did this to mine, I haven't had to deal with a leaking refrigerator problem since.

Amazing. I spent weeks placing towels under my fridge and not being able to track down the leak. This was EXACTLY what I did to fix it! There was literally some random piece of plastic in the drain tube, probably just falling off a frozen food bag and into the drain. I will say though, my drain was FULL of ice and took about a gallon of boiling water (poured 12-oz a time every 10-minutes or so) for it to finally break through! So be patient with that part. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Thanks, our drain tube had what looked like dust inside it that was preventing it from draining into the pan. This video led me to the solution. There was a lot of ice inside on and in the drain, and below the metal flashing took a while for that to go away too. This video led me to the solution. Much appreciated
