Great editing and comedic timing - making the video both entertaining while also informative! Looking forward to your next uploads and the progress on your games. A video on mo-cap sounds super interesting too! 👍👍👍
I tried iPi once, and I was really impressed by the results! But the price for a subscription was a bit high for me for the budget I have, but maybe in the future I rent a license for a few months. Or maybe more if I can afford it.
Yeah, it's true, the price is quite steep. It's 695 dollars for a basic license, but still way cheaper than a mocap suit. I guess renting it for cheaper can give you enough time to make all the animations you need.
@@Inner-Chaos That's very true. Although with a suit, I'd like that there is a bigger range to move around with. I heard that those suits aren't great either for very accurate/fast movements though, and in that case, I got recommended a setup that still tracks visual markers. I think it would be fine though. Trying a Rokkoko suit someday might be fun as well.
Mixamo is good for gamejams and prototypes. It's also a very useful tool for rigging the character. Depending on the type of game you are making you might be ok with using its animations, but animations made specifically for your game will always be better than generic ones.
The long awaited devlog #1 is out! ruclips.net/video/kMbnEpLwgJU/видео.html

We will! We're still trying to find our style, but we will definitely make more devlogs, regardless of what other content we will make
