When I was child, here in Italy, I remember many people had one month of holiday, it is not true now, things has changed a lot. Usually, if you are very lucky and you have a job, you have 2 weeks of summer holiday. But many people, especially young people like you Ken-san, have no job or a few months contract without any holiday, and very law salary. It is globalization. Sad comment my friend, sorry.

その通りですね。日本に定住したかったら、日本語が必須ですね。その正社員の話も耳が痛いほど実情なんです。永住権のためであろうと住宅ローンのためであろうと正社員にならなくてはいけないですよね。
