Crit dmg 24.20% my normal dmg far i see is 90k dmg not critk and with out using melee booster but imusing power 3 form

My character uses a photon sword and SMG I was wondering if you could do a build on that. Had I use the photon sword for close combat and the SMG for large numbers of opponents
I'm only level 97, with 103 STR I believe, and Sharp Nail 3 and Horizontal Slash 3 hit for over 4000 with me when I have Power Form 3 and Melee Booster 2 activated
Ventus u can get a galactic estoc and miasma claw without completing the true ending i got them epic version from ambush of imposters boss weather wizard
does anyone else find it odd that in a game revolving around guns swords the closes range weapon aside from the combat knife does absurd dps ?
You're most likely to get killed using a sword than a rifle

I agree with you that swords are butter then guns because with swords you can do more damage then you can with guns
it's more instant damage (sword)v.s. more damage over time (gun)

Would you say this build is better than the black hole build?
my build is a crit damage build. I've got an accessory that gives a 14% cdr for abilities so I have 0 points in INT. this allowed me to put more points into STR/LUC/AGI/DEX. When the dlc came out and melee booster 2 came out I've started putting points into INT to use it.
I've also got max damage vs x on my sword along with weapon damage and crit chance and crit damage. I melt things with non stop crits and to add a layer of difficulty to the game I've started using guns again since I've spent so much time using a sword I suck with weapons now haha
Kyle K I suggest using str agi dex u can use swords and guns and I'm currently using it and its very strong and suggest everyone to try it u won't regret it
not a fan of gun and sword. my damage gets lower. I am building a sword up for gun and sword so that I can switch between sword and then gun and sword but honestly prefer having a gun (AR sniper or pistol) as my secondary tbh.

@Kyle K I would recommend using a pistol as your secondary preferably a Legendary Miasma Fang++ because it is the only rank 8 pistol that can have A+ accuracy if it has the bullet circle accuracy (BCA) memory chip on it (I can't remember what the max percent is but I know it can go past 75%). In addition, it is also a physical power based pistol and it can deal decent damage if you have a damage based memory chips on it (i.e. Physical Attack (PA) at 21.90%, Weapon Attack (WA)16.40%, Weak Spot Damage at 21.90%, Critical Rate at 32.90%, Critical Damage at 32.90%. Damage vs. Humanoids 21.90%, Damage vs. Mechs 21.90%, and Damage vs Lifeforms 21.90%) Use concentration level 3 (sniper skill) to increase your accuracy so its easier to hit your target. However, you could also get the Legendary Long Stroke 3 (It can be obtained from Commander Napier on the second stage of the BOB Gold Tournament or by farming it on Piercing Eyes 2 on Co-Op) it has B accuracy and can reach A accuracy via BCA memory chip. (it can reach 911 base damage with just PA and WA maxed out). Pray to the RNG Gods so that they bless you with a damage based one on your first try! XD. Good luck trying to get a Legendary Long Stroke 3 it is going to be a serious pain in the ass to obtain but is worth it due how much damage it can inflict.
ya I got lucky on my true end boss battle and got a really good miasma fang (legendary) so ive been running that along with my sword, mainly just for the pistol arts skill (+100% skill cdr). my legendary sword is set up for gun and sword but i dont switch to it very often. if i can get a decent rank 9 sword from kirito maybe i will finally set up a sword/gun and sword combo. but when i do that I feel like i have less versatility in my set up. I like to have at least a pistol as my secondary so i can fall back and still do damage when i need to heal up.

I know im late but could i use dual orbital as a skill instead of using sharp nail? So i would be using H.Sqaure,Vorpal Strike, and Dual orbital along with bullet reflector

Is photon sword good? im currently using a deathwind and miasma fang both legendary, although im thinking of using a gun and sword as my secondary since i got a legendary dainsleif (Im currently lvl 133)
Zreilei they're hard to master, but are really fun when you get used to how certain enemies move and attack

Best place to try them out is the wasteland, alot of scorpions to slash at. And at least 2 sword skills can be used mid-air, so you can take out bees, drones and hit the weak spot on scorpions with them
Just tried it well its pretty fun since im not using swords that much so my skills are only lvl 1 though the regular attack ranges from 2.8k to 4k with buffs and melee booster but sometimes it crits 20k (50k if i used armor break) so i guess its good

Im landing up to 600k on vorpal strike if Im lucky and 250k on average
horizantal square i land anywhere from 150k to 250k
sharp nail i land up to 300k
and on a normal swing i sometimes land 20k 30k or 40k
How you get that NPC control Menu?
I kinda wasted sp getting sharp nail tho

i can make a masumune g2 hit for 10k with those stats, you havent even maxed the weapon out, also im more of a sniper build guy, if you were on xbox id happily show you and my sniper that can easily do 11mil in one hit
Is melee booter a one time use?
No, if it was I'd be pretty upset lol
It's got a cooldown but definitely useful for photon swords
