Oh my goodness, this turned out so freaking adorable! I have to say, you are awesome on so many levels! I absolutely love how you use the supplies you have in every video, you aren't using the most expensive or constantly changing and trying new supplies, and honestly, it shows. Your confidence in your supplies and your knowledge of what to "usually" expect when you touch your brush to the paper is inspiring to me. Shows that consistent practice with the same supplies really does make a difference. I personally have too many supplies, collected over many many years and I struggle with what to use. I just need to pick a set and stick with it. My 2020 goal! Thanks for your lovely tutorials and keep emailing coming. I'm definitely going to fill a sketchbook with them...the feathers, whale, jelly fish, sea turtle, coffee, poppies....yep! You are going to keep me busy! Thank you! Happy new year!

Wow. I've watched this Video a few times & continue to be amazed at your "bravery" of just charging in with a loaded brush and committing to whatever line or detail you're painting. Even though its on hi-speed fwd, its still incredible your real time speed. Your color selection is beautiful & I find myself just staring at that gorgeous Turtle for a long time when you finish. I've directed friends to just go take a look when I hear them say some of the subject matter on Painting Tutorials always that interesting or inspiring. As suspected, they get back to me with "Wow". So pretty!! I love sea turtles. You make it look so easy. I struggle with drawing. What I do is draw it on scratch paper so I can redo and erase and then use a light pad to trace it onto my wc paper in the exact spot where I want it. It works well, even with the Arches paper. I definitely want to try this one. And the jellyfish, too. Thanks for the tutorial.

When I'm feeling a bit low or worrying over something, painting I find is the best way for me to distract myself and get totally lost in the process. The hardest part is Starting for me. To get my supplies out & actually make that first stroke I find the hardest. Is this all because of my state of mind or do others find this a stumbling block? Adore your paintings & watch all your utube videos, you are very talented & your teaching style is just right. Thank you for sharing your talent. 😀🎨💗

This turned out so good! I love sealife paintings. I love birds too, and the photoshop birds and cats together. There are a few on Pixabay if you needed a reference photo...hint hint, lol
Just found your channel and love your instructions. Another hint - if you plan the base color of your painting (green turtle) you can use a water color pencil near that shade to do your sketch. That way it really blends in well. Just be cautious when doing washes as the lines really disappear (with your sketch). Thank you!

Perhaps a blue and/or green pencil would have been more invisible than black because the black is still black when dissolved and so it does not just disappear. That said this is beautiful and you can draw really well!
