Not going to lie, I kind of hate this fishing part of the game! I don't have the best eyesight, or the fastest reflexes because my eyes lose the cursor a lot so yeah... an unfortunate pain point of an otherwise enjoyable game so far!
As irritated as I was by the fishing game yesterday... I'm actually rather embarrassed now for sounding off about it. All it took was putting on some headphones, and doing a little more reading to realize it's important to keep the cursor over the center point of the fish. m!I can't keep an eye on the fish, my cursor, AND the likelihood bars, but the Pacha devs actually did a LOVELY job putting sound effects in for whenever the bar goes up, and a little bell thing when it's full! They're kind of subtle, though, so in a household full of poodles and a middle-schooler I missed them until I put on my gaming headset! My tip for any low-vision gamers reading this in the future is, for this and lots of other games too, definitely get a good set of headphones, because the audio stands out so much better on them than on mere TV speakers, or even a good sound system, especially if there's background noise! I adore my Turtle Beach, and used my Beats Studio Pro regular headphones before that, but I know Sony headphones are good too, and other brands! Anyway, I'm still catching mostly porcupine, but I'm enjoying it much more now! I've caught Tiktak too, and some Hammer fish! I like this mini game MUCH better than Stardew Valley's, which I suffer through on console and mod out altogether on PC.
Yessss you played this game! Just bought it on Steam and I’m like “let me see if Bodin has any vids” 🎉
It was honestly one of my fav farming sims as of late! Had so much fun playing it ☺️
tell me how to remove an item from the inventory tiles, trees?
Thank you. Gyrodus is totally shiny Gyarados :p
How do you unlock the harpoon? I'm pretty late into the game and still use the hand axe.
Have you gotten your hearts up with anyone from the Yakuan clan? I believe that once you gift them enough it'll unlock the harpoon.
Is there a fishing rod yet? That's silly how they didn't have one to begin with.
It’s a prehistoric game

Yeah I can see where you’re coming from! I’ve really enjoyed my time playing Roots of Pacha as well!
