I bought this game when it came out on the ps3 for the first time and it was awesome, later i bought the improved version with all the dlc on steam and it was one of the best games i've ever played. Its a shame that the studio closed while they were making the sequel, that was going to be bigger and with two protagonists, as i recall....
Sleeping Dogs is easy one of the most underrated games ever, too bad we'll never get a second game. Also the secondary missions are much better that the GTA V ones.

For favor 5 the dude tripped on the boxes and fell over and just laid there in pain for me to kick him while he was down, I thought it was scripted, that was too easy 😂😂😂
I didn't realize the favours were broken up into 3 sections. I thought they never went away. My only criticism of this game is I wish it alerted you to complete all favours before carrying onto another section. Now I can't 100 percent this game, I guess. Other than this... such an awesome game.

Upd: About DLC's, my fav DLC was Wei police career (IK, it's DLC not have open world but it's one a OK DLC).

Saddest thing is we will never see a Sleeping Dogs 2. The developers had amazing ideas for the sequel, but the developers went bankrupt I think.

Sleeping dogs is definitely better in some aspects then gta 4-5 id even say it's better than gta 4 but 5 has too much content to be worse.
