SAP2000 instability (ill-condition) structure

when you have an instable structure, negative eigen values, and you don't know the reason, this is one of the solution. Sorry the video was cut at the end, You need to remove the releases at the pined supports since they create the instabilities.

Excellent. Right now i had a similar trouble, i assembled the truss and pinned all of dots. I didn’t understand the problem, when i run the model .Then i watched this video and i thank you to help. The model lose the stiffness. That’s why the ill conditioned.

Hello, afterwards you have 2 options : or to remove the releases since the the joint is already pinned or change the joint to fixed and keep the releases
