It’s crazy that I lived (literally) across the street in a duplex and stared at that building not ever knowing what it was.
Now I’m in my 40’s and into model trains. I cannot believe I’ve been buying a catalog from Walthers for years and didn’t realize (until recently) it was across the street from me when I was a kid.

Thanks for the tour. Very nice layouts. I'm currently in the process of organizing and gathering items for my small layout. I do not like balsa wood lazar cut kits. I much prefer plastic and yours look very well made. I recently bought my first Walthers kit to replace a balsa wood kit. JIM'S REPAIR SHOP made of plastic will be used as a base for FRED & RED'S CAFE made from balsa wood. I'll use all the extras like decals, signs and chimneys from the wood kit to create the plastic version as the two buildings are so similar. I do have a question that I hope you can answer. In Jim's Repair Shop kit, there was an extra sprue of what appeared to be three long roof sections of different widths. They do not appear in the pictures or are mentioned in the instructions. Could you please tell me what they are for? I might use them somehow, but they are only roof sections. I also bought two more Jim's kits to make a post office and, of course, Jim's Repair Shop and Pawn. Thanks.

+Walthers do you think you could do a model of the Congressional/Senator PRR passenger trains as one of the Named Trains?

Walthers Trains can you guys make the Ringling bros and Barnum and Bailey combined shows from 1937 with every elephant car used, every stock car used, every passenger car used , every flat used, every wagon used and every equipment wagon used and not in kits with Katy couplers and metal trucks and make sure they aren’t in kits. Don’t supply power.
