I think it will take some time for yatri to manage all this things when there are no such charging station in appropriate quantities ..
Charging point kaha cha bhanera khojai basnu pardaina. They have a dedicated map inside their Yatri app, where we can see all the charging station locations and whether they are occupied or not. Furthermore, we can also plan our trip using the app. From what I know, their philosophy is not to have bigger batteries, but rather to have a more robust charging network all over Nepal and better battery chemistry that supports DC fast charging as well as faster AC charging.

I was also planning to buy EV. But when i saw Yatri stuck in Jungle near Kulekhane (only around 50 K from KTM) on 07.07.2079 I changed my mind. If you have other vehicles than you can use EV as additional luxury or for KTM or for short trip only. It is definitely not a trusted means of transportation. 😞 sad to write this. I agree with you, unless we have good charging station facilities like gas stations in short distances, we will have to be mindful of the battery percentage, range, and destination. Without planning our trip, it's tough to travel long distances where there is no proper civilization and electricity reach.

There are different elements to be considered, some people just need a vehicle to go from point A to point B, some people need an additionally powerful bike, and other wants a good-looking and electric one. I wanted all of them, so you can’t expect the price to be super cheap and want all of them. When you compromise on certain things, you get a cheaper motorcycle. And looking at your comment, it seems like you just want a motorcycle to go from Point A to Point B and nothing more. So, what calculations you did do and the decisions you take according to that, would be the best fit for you and not necessarily for everyone.
also about your calculation: Yatri P-1 doesn’t cost 6.5 lakh, it starts at just 5.85 lakh, that’s 65,000 more. “Aaile” malai fix ko interest le, it’s not always the same, there are liquidity crises and hence you are getting a high interest in FDs. Look at the data from previous years. So, let us just suppose we get 13% interest in our FD forever in an ideal scenario. 13% of 3.5 lakh = Rs. 4,375. The petrol price is Rs.178/L right now. Suppose your 3 lakh motorcycle gives you a range of 45 km/L. Then am I wrong or are you just planning to travel 1106 km per year ~ 92 km per month? Looks like you don’t need a motorcycle after all.

I don’t think it is true in the case of our country since all the electricity produced is from a clean renewable energy sources (hydropower). Unlike, burning coal/fossil fuels for electricity.
also in making of the battery, I don’t think it is the same if the battery is properly recycled. In the long run, it is positive. Also, the P-1s battery degrades to 80% capacity after 1,20,000KM.
Eco friendly is okay Nepalese product is okay But overpriced for that calculator milage indicator and performance is not okay in-front of other competitors with lower price. I think you guys will go bankruptcy all because of the quality and production speed. Sorry but change your strategy
I agree to a certain extent, but it has superior battery chemistry than the competition. And as they are a startup, they surely have lots of shortcomings which I think they are working on.
