Knowing that true professionals get stuck every now and then helps hacks like me feel just a little better after getting stuck! LOL. Thanks, nice work on the grading projects also. Take care.
I love the way you make things look easy. The funny thing is it is easy for you cuz you're an amazing operator. I remember back when I just could not grade with the skid steer and now years later it's so simple it doesn't even take much thought lol.
Glad you had something to pull it out. My luck I wouldn't have anything within 50 miles. Great Video!!!! And Tim quit laughing the boss is going to dock your pay. Stay safe
When I worked at a feedlot many years ago, our silage pit was down in a gully below the main yard. Unless it was 100 degrees and sunny, we always had to pull the slop trucks up out of there with a front end loader. My boss's standing instructions were "pull them all the way to the blacktop, regardless of what they think". I had more than one driver honk, yell, and even stand on the brakes; I just kept pulling, lol.
@@seanhazelwood3311 When they did the overpass by my place, they used clay dirt. That's all they had access to , pure crap clay. So the belly dumpers go and open up to drop their loads of clay on the job site, they had to use a dozer to shove them off the load piling underneath them. Every, stinking time. They had to use a disc tiller to break the clods down to something manageable and then run a sheepsfoot over it to compact to grade. And to this day they have slippage problems on those overpasses.
Ouch - nothing was going to stop the 'dozer, but I was worried the chain would simply pull something off the mini. The initial pull was moving a huge pile of soil!
You are not stuck until...... you need help getting out. So it looks like you got stuck. Good job Timmy always keep a chain in your truck . You might haft to pull a Chevrolet..or yanmar out of the mud .great video
Wow! You sir are an artist with your machines. A true professional. You should try a time laps vid. The pond would have been a good time laps vid. Keep the vids coming!
Still raining there now ,we had the same weather here never stopped. Now rain ahead for the week and then maybe next week. And it's getting real cold for the next few days, maybe snow.
I love it when you think the ground will hold after a fair bit of Rain has been on the track you think is solid enough to hold the weight of the machine you are operating , then all of a sudden you get that slow sinking feeling , I was operating a Centurion Tank at the time here in the Australian bush 64 Ton is just a little too heavy for some of the tracks we military folk have to travel on , but yep it's fun when you come to a sudden stop because the road has given way under the weight . This was a long time ago as I am no longer in the Aussie Army , I did eleven year's and they were pretty good , i am now 70 and from time to time i catch up on some of the thing's that i did when i was feeling ten foot tall and had no fear !!
Like watching your channel because now I know what a mini can and cannot do and know how to use railroad ties if I get stuck. I'm helping my dad and grandpa make a runway at my dad's farm for the Dusters. We have a couple D8's with a ripper and a JD120 with 2 minis I need to learn how to operate lol Runway is 50' X 3200' from turf to asphalt
Those drive motors in the mini's once blocked (wheel spocket) up with sand, soil, clay, stone etc don't have enough power to turn the tracks, let alone move out of a bog, beware the Yanmar drives tend to fail often at 3000 hour approx , at least some year models did have a habit of them failing.
And now ladies and gentlemen, a demonstration of Soil liquefaction and camera man giggles. :D Thanks guys for the great entertainment! Keep up the good work also!
Wow that beige clay is some gunky crappy stuff. We have the red clay, nice loam and compacted volcanic mudflow to deal with in this area. It's all fairly easy but the compacted stuff is like a rock
I did the exact same thing with my brand new (4 hours) SVL95-2S today, drove across a stump hole that I didn't know was there and went belly deep and hi-centered it. Lol. First time on the chain, I'm sure it won't be the last!!!
Where in the world do you get this music for your time lapse and drone footage?? It's a rather relaxing tune. Lol I remember the days when I was a roller man. Lol back and forth, back and forth, back and forth!! That's the job of a roller man.
Chris, I thought you were close to my area, but just now realized how close you are. I live about 6 or 7 houses away from this site. It looks great by the way.
Chris You know had that been a Volvo it'd pulled on out of the hole.🤔 And when I saw the mini , thought to myself when did I go over there a stick that.🤔🙄😁
Good thing that you got it out . It looked like you might have to get the phone number from the tow guy that is on TV from Canada. He does that a lot on TV.
Dammit Man !! You Sumped her up today !! lolol.... Yeah, everywhere you put the bucket in was wanting to go out of site too...lolol...But ya got her out, all in a days work..lol... Have a Great Evening Chris !! Stay Safe....
you know, watching all his videos, I have come to the conclusion that North Carolina is either in drought, or in muck. The only time I visited there was to go rafting down the Natanhala (while staying in Blairsville, GA) and it was raining that day, too. But face it, you're going to get wet anyway... It was GREAT FUN. if you're ever in the area.
When the blade rolls up that white clay all I can think of is pottery. My great uncle dug clay and made finger jugs during prohibition. They caught him by tracking his importing of cork and his kiln firing. Oh yeah he made stuff to put in them jugs too.
What would you recommend for wood pallets for a mini excavator. I have a 6 ton machine but I don’t know if I need 4x4 or 4x6 or how big to make them. As far as the length and size. Any idea?
I am hoping someone can help me with some info. I am looking to buy an excavator to clear some land, about 2 acres in wet wood lands of PA, mostly maples up to 18 inches. I am looking for a smaller excavator that I can haul on a tag trailer. My question is what size excavator do I need? I bought a case 580SM backhoe and it takes down the trees fine, but in two years I have had less than 10 days dry enough to use it where it didn't sink to the axles in mud.
Knowing that true professionals get stuck every now and then helps hacks like me feel just a little better after getting stuck! LOL. Thanks, nice work on the grading projects also. Take care.
Just discovered your videos. Subscribed and very thankful for the clean, no profane language.
Tim enjoyed filming you stuck a little to much. He was loving the irony of it. Lol God bless
Anyone who runs big equipment gets stuck, it's ALWAYS fun when the boss does it. ;)

Any time you get to have a good laugh at the boss TAKE IT because you know that if you reverse the roles he would be laughing at you. Go, Tim.
The camera seemed to be a little shaky when Tim was filming your exit... surely he wasn't laughing.... lol
If u had the sound up u could hear him giggle 😆
I bet he was enjoying that after all the crap he copped when he got stuck a little while ago, heh.
@@heithdotysadventures7824 I'm sure he was just sniffling because he was so torn by the sight of him being stuck lol
you ain't that stuck, I can still see your cab. lol.
Stuck mud area looks like a big mud swamp.... be glad the dozer didn't get in there.... time to invest in a big chain
The buried septic line strikes back!
Tim’s smilin’ ‘cause da boss done messed up!
This of course came across my feed after watching the other "Well I wasn't stuck til I got stuck" video..
Seriously.. T-shirt material!
I think this is the first time I've seen you get anything stuck. Good thing is, it's out now. That there's what we call, soup!! Hahahaha.
Sage advice there Chris.... stay out of the corner!!! 😂😂
Need to do a full equipment tour!
The comaradery is great. Well Done.
Just about swallowed the ol yanmar 🤣 glad you got it out
Tim’s laughing now but let’s see who’s going to shovel off the machine
Tim should have pulled you all the way to the front of the job, no matter how much you waved your arms around..

Loved it when you was stuck ,,, yep we were all chuckling along with Tim ..... Bring on the Dozer ,, lol
Another good video Chris, keep them coming and y’all stay safe you ole Tim. I bet that made Tim‘s day to see you Bog down. Lmaoooo

"Little tinkerbell" That's hilarious
More like Sinkerbelle. He let Chris down by not letting him know that was a stinkhole there.
That Equipment is Worth it’s weight in Gold. 👍
That looks like a good corner to avoid renting as well...

Tim having too much fun
So that'll be the old (or new) septic system from the house in the background

Excavating Technical Phrase for grading mud: "I'm just gonna smear that all around".
Chris, isn't that close to where you capped of that drain when you first start that job?

Kiddo should have dug around the tracks and cleared out the drive sprockets. Then wriggled his way out of that mudpit.
It was fun watching you get out of the sinkhole at the back end of that property.
I would bet a dollar you can find the neighbors septic tile in that corner somewhere.
Yeah, that nice green spot! Guess the owner never fixed it😂😂
OH! THAT was not a nice thought!! You are probably right.....

You're not stuck though! You just can't get out! Lol 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆
Tim tryin' so hard to "snicker" (quietly). lol
Looks like you need some "custom" single bar rubber tracks!
You have to much FUN! 🤣
Love your videos and your so good on those machines
Been there done that, though on a much smaller scale. I stuck my sub-compact tractor and almost got my other tractor stuck trying to get it out.

All those new wood planks for the track sitting at home! So, who forgot to load them on the trailer? No one goes out into the dig without them! LOL
man you guys load them trucks light. #Respect for sure.
That is probably the leach bead for the old septic system that you removed when you dugout the site earlier
That wasn't an old stump hole, that was a septic tank hole. Talk about an "oh shit" moment. Lol.
This is a good video it
Why: because it good to see someone stuck when you are sad
Always knew you would eventually get yourself stuck in a sh hole! Don't blame the mini!
Everyone I ever met in NC always had a chain in their truck.
That's because we try to be prepared. When I take my Prowler mudding, I always throw a chain in the trunk. LOL
shucks I have at least 4, couple straps, cable, have used every inch :D
I wonder what the neighbor thinks of the storage units built next door. and be sure to thank him for all his dirt you're hauling away....
Great choice of bakground music.
Tinkerbell said dozy help I'm stuck. Lol God bless
Is this a BLOOPER SEGMENT ?? LOL
They need a sign there. I believe that ground would swallow anything walking or moving over that patch of land.

Those doors are really close to the ground. Why didnt they build the pads up higher to help with the drainage?
good point man, a professional knows when to stop! big like! thumb up
I would have Bet you would get it out on its Own Power. 👍
As long as you can laugh at your own mistakes. you are an awesome boss to work for. great content. Later Tator.
I don't recall Tim adding some music to his video before. 🎵 Tim has to be thinking he's glad it wasn't him that buried it! 😉
LOL always knew there was a stick in the mud - now we know LOL - love you guys :)

You had mini buried up pretty good! Found out myself how mud can stop the tracks from turning😬
I was surprised Ive never had a machine what wouldnt still spin the tracks
