    *Note: We will not reveal all of the technical things to craft this specific SLG. Please don't ask the things we've not specified in these videos.
    Do not copy any of the designs of the Atelier SANG BLEU, all rights are reserved to the Atelier SANG BLEU.
    This artwork was a bespoke order from one of my customers.
    Made out of Special type Chevre & HCP(TCIM) Alligator leather & Odessa(Togo) Calfskin.
    And the Initial stamp + renewal design stamping option was added.
    All of the leathers that are used and the way of making this luxurious leatherwork are the same as the French luxury leather brands.
    No cheap fabrics were used and no bare flesh sides have remained on the backside. All of the parts are fully leather-lined and it is not an easy process to achieve the linear slim thickness between several layers of leather. This is one of the reasons that French luxury leather goods are expensive.
    Feel the quality :)

    Thank you, I love watching your design process and how you refine the details down to their final form. Beautifully filmed and edited - you tell a good story. Well done.
    _Quick Question_ - do you know the name of the lining material that you use?
    - Cathy (&, accidently, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown/Pimisi

      Thank you for enjoying my works and videos!🙏🏻
      Unfortunately, we cannot get the specific name from the agency of the tannery + they don't want us to publicly tell the name to the others as well because they are suppliers for Hermes and don't want to reveal the name out loud. 😅
      Just the same leather article Hermes uses for the linings of exotic leather goods, that's all we can tell 🥹

    • @stevezytveld6585
      @stevezytveld6585 Год назад

      @@AtelierSANGBLEU Sir, I bow. You are one _heck_ of a researcher. And the tannery agrees to sell to you who just happens to be manufactures for Hermes. Utterly remarkable I knew you were good... yeah, trade secrets, totally... wow.

    • @stevezytveld6585
      @stevezytveld6585 Год назад

      @@AtelierSANGBLEU OK. Workaround question... if someone was looking for a lining material (for what amounts to learn-as-you-work projects), what would you recommend for a lining/stiffening material (something that's a little more, uh, budget conscious). What would the generic name of that material be?
      Alternatively, would a layer or two of canvas be a good substitute?
      Because, honestly, before I saw that material I had assumed it was some sort of specialized card-stock/cardboard.

    • @AtelierSANGBLEU
      @AtelierSANGBLEU  Год назад +1

      @@stevezytveld6585 Oh, did you ask me about the reinforcement material?? I thought you are asking about the linings on the interior😅
      The one I used on this was microfiber material from Italy. (Microfibra)
      The best reinforcement material is always Leather, not artificial materials. Canvas is not a good idea I think.
      The fibers in leathers are the best but, for some projects that need more suppleness like this, microfiber has the most similar feeling to the leather + suppleness.

    • @stevezytveld6585
      @stevezytveld6585 Год назад

      @@AtelierSANGBLEU Oooh. See, I learn so much from you... Thank you.
      I've seem some other leatherworkers using a fabric/foam-like material that looks like its been coated with at least one layer of fusible interfacing (if this were fabric sewing that's what the white fiber layer coating one side of the material would be called). Microfibra. OK. The applications I've seen so far with it seems to be reserved for a more box-y style of purse or briefcase. Which makes total sense.
      Thank you for opening up a new 'research rabbit hole' to explore.
      You're using the same lining material as Hermes. I'm just going to geek out on that little fact for a while... well done, you!

    좋은 영상 감사합니다. 선생님 영상 볼 때마다 눈호강 하네요. 궁금한 게 있는데, 본드 바르실 때 붓이랑 본드 주걱을 번갈아 쓰시던데 어떤 차이가 있어서인지 알려주실 수 있을까요? 본드가 다른건가요? 유리병과 본드통에 따로 보관하시던데 저 같은 하수의 눈에는 같은 인터콤 본드처럼 보여서요.

    • @AtelierSANGBLEU

      감사합니다, 테크니컬한 부분은 답변드리지 않습니다만 이 부분은 좀 기본적인부분이니 간략히 알려드리겠습니다.
      본드는 둘 다 동일한본드가 맞지만, 본딩을 어떤 상황에 어떤 소재에 하느냐에 따라 다르게 사용합니다.
      일반적인 원피에 본딩을 하는 상황이면 붓을 사용하는게 오히려 본드도 낭비고, 과도하게 두텁게 발리거나 균일하게 발리지 않기 때문에 스페츌러를 사용합니다.
      본드가 잘 스며들지 않는 소재/ 본드를 금방 먹어버려서 접착성이 떨어지기 쉬운 소재의 경우에는 붓을 사용하면 본드가 충분히 많은 양으로 한번에 섬유질 깊숙히 침투하기 때문에, 쉽게 영구적인 본딩을 할 수 있어서 붓을 사용합니다 :)

      @@AtelierSANGBLEU 답글 감사합니다. 읽고 영상을 다시 보니 이해가 됐습니다. 보강재 중 유독 잘 안 붙는 소재가 있었는데, 저도 붓을 한번 사용해봐야겠네요.

    Good job! One thing though: in your Customer Thank You Letter you shouldn't use other brands names to associate your products with, not only because it is unethical, but also because this makes you a simp of the big brands, recognizing them as ethalons of quality which, nowadays, is not the case anymore. So, inspire, conceive, but never simp for.

      Thanks a lot for your opinion, I would totally agree with that
      if the purpose was the same as you are getting it.
      The true purpose of that message in the letter was not what you thought it was.(this is not about simping them at all)
      But, As this occurs the misunderstanding like this, we don't state that message anymore these days.
