My plot twist is similar, first get rid of all the robots including the Buffybot and Adam. First, in season 4 after Angel leaves for LA, Buffy rejects his advice for a normal life and sees Spike as a good man. Spike realizes that Dru was right, that he does have feelings for her and decides to pursue her instead of trying to kill, has that dream of kissing Buffy earlier. Spike never gets with Harmony because he's in love with Buffy and focuses all his efforts on her. Buffy never gives Parker an after thought because she's already with Spike in season 4, and Spike gets the gem of Amara because he wants to be with her in the daylight and not just at night. Spike sees Parker harass and try to hit on her on campus and punches him in the face instead of her, that fight scene in Harsh Light of the Day never takes place even though that was the best fight scene between them in season 4 in my opinion. Willow is still devastated about Oz, but they realize that they are going separate ways emotionally and move on, they remain good friends still, in my version Tara and Willow get together much sooner. Riley is seen as just another college boy, but Buffy and him are just friends they never date each other, no Initiative, however he's still involved with some government types and is under suspicion from Buffy. Spike never gets chipped, but because he doesn't have his soul yet, he still gets bad urges to hurt people even though he's with Buffy, however he manages to resist those bad urges and do better for her, he'll constantly struggle mentally and physically to do what is right. Riley is too involved with the government and decides to leave town so he can't cause Buffy any problems. Xander and Anya are deeply involved with each other, Xander learns to deal with Buffy and Spike being together and get over his prejudice nature towards all vampires and see that Spike is trying to do better for Buffy and the gang. Season 5, Dawn is the key created by the monks, but is seen as more than that by Buffy and the gang, Dawn is treated as just some kid, but more valued as her own individual person. Ben and Glory are still one in the same person, Spike is suspicious of Ben when he takes care of Joyce and shows an interest in Buffy, his vampiric senses ping everytime Ben talks to Buffy at the hospital, oh yeah, Buffy lets Spike keep the gem of Amara because it was intended as a romantic gesture from him to be able to walk around in the daytime to be with her, she never sends it to Angel because she knows and realizes that they will never get back together and he will never be there for her unlike Spike who is constantly proving himself for her in tough times. Joyce dies still, but Spike is there to comfort her, Buffy lets him move in sooner so he can protect Dawn and watch over everything. Giles is at first upset with Buffy, but he too like Xander realizes that they make each happy, protect one another, and that they are better together than apart. Xander actually mans up and marries Anya in season 5, not letting his fears or doubts cloud his judgement, the families are hostile, but when they see how much Xander and Anya are in love they back off after the vows and their kiss at the end. Oz sticks around still, but only as a friend, he knows that Tara loves Willow and would do anything for her, so he doesn't jeopardize their friendship, he dates that Veruca woman because she's a lycan like him. Oz and Tara make sure that Willow doesn't go overboard with the magics. I know vampires can't have children, but this is my version of how the show should've been written, the higher powers that be somehow let Buffy get pregnant with Spike's baby because there will be a prophecy about a daughter born from the slayer and a vampire that will acquire his soul for her. The child will be Immortal and powerful like her parents. She will kind of be like Renesme from Twilight, but with Spike's and Buffy's genetics, she'll have blue-green eyes, she will be a child of goodness and have her own soul. Buffy would be pregnant before she sacrifices herself to close the portal to the hell dimension, but nobody knows about the baby not even her. Everyone is devastated and Spike still cries after seeing her lifeless body and he smells something different about her, but he doesn't know what it is exactly. Willow and the gang perform the ritual and resurrect Buffy, the baby still grows slowly within her because it's half vampire. Spike is unaware of the baby and the gang performing the resurrection spell behind his back and is pissed off, but when she walks down the steps towards him, he realizes it's her, his slayer, and is no longer angry with Willow and the gang. His vampiric senses tell him that something is still off about her, but he can't pinpoint what it is. Willow is the first to realize the pregnancy because she performed the spell on Buffy. Buffy has herself tested and realizes that she is indeed pregnant with Spike's baby. When Spike finds about the baby it makes him more determined to seek out his soul for not only Buffy, but for his unborn child. He leaves temporarily to get his soul across the world, Buffy thinks that he left her because of the baby news, at first she wants to have an abortion, but Tara talks her out of it and convinces her that Spike loves her and would never do that because Tara knows that Spike wants to be a dad and raise the child together with Buffy. Xander and Anya also decide to start a family of their own and Anya gets pregnant, they decide to leave Sunnydale together, but they promise to return and help Buffy defeat the First, Xander is never blinded by Caleb in the one eye because him and Anya had left town to start their family. There are no potentials, no slayers created, Faith does awaken to help Buffy defeat the First evil, but that's all, no mutany, or kicking Buffy out of her own house. Spike returns to assist Buffy with fighting Caleb and the First evil, Buffy is happy to have him back and realizes that Spike will never leave her like Angel and her father did which fortifies her feelings for him and she does say she loves him. Angel, unfortunately, does return temporarily to give her that amulet to be worn by a champion. He sees that Buffy is pregnant by Spike gets upset about it because secretly he wished it was his child, but at the same time comes to understand that their relationship is over and has been for a long time, that her personal life is no longer his business because he too has a child, a son with Darla, unlike the show he tells Buffy about Connor, she's surprised at first, but also understands that they are similar, but still two different people than what they were when she was in highschool. Xander alone returns to help Buffy with the hellmouth, Buffy at some point gives birth to her daughter with Spike, however he still decides to sacrifice himself to save Buffy, the Scooby gang and his daughter so they can live out their lives in peace and to make the world a better place for his family and her friends. Buffy says his name like on the show and those are her last and only words at the end. Buffy leaves with her daughter and her sister Dawn for Rome, Tara is still alive and with Willow, the two of them go off and live the rest of their lives together, Xander goes back to Anya and his family, Giles decides to go back to England, he never left Buffy or the gang like he did on the show. Buffy with the help of her sister Dawn raise Spike's daughter she grows up fast, not too fast, but fast enough, the daughter learns of her daddy and his courageous deeds and also learns about Angel and Dru, the vampires that sired and created her father. As a young adult she decides to travel back to California to meet Angel, her father's grandsire and his son Connor. Buffy is unaware of what her daughter is doing. The daughter meets Angel, but didn't know that her dad Spike was resurrected before meeting Angel. Spike and his daughter are finally reunited with each other and alongside Angel and his son they join forces and fight the bad guy together, Buffy and Dawn return to California as well. Buffy sees her daughter with Spike and is happy about the reunion, she also knows that she needs to talk to Angel and she has some harsh words with him because he runs Wolfman and Hart corporation and she's not exactly thrilled or happy about that, also, Angel neglected to tell them that Spike was resurrected, but her happiness of having her whole family together again overrules her irritation with Angel. Of course Dawn is also elated because she's a proud aunt and plus she's just happy to see Spike again alive and well and reunited with his daughter and her niece. This would be my version of what should have happened on the tv show, because these two vampires have a biological child of their own, Tara and Anya shouldn't have been killed off the show in the first place, and my version of what should have happened comes full circle basically.
