    Love this build. Might need to make some for pulling out metal splinters in the forge.

    Great video Sam. I find the forging of everyday items that we take for granted a most amazing thing. I'll definitely have to put that in the "try" file for the next time I get a chance to forge a thing.👍

    What a great project, great build! You have Hammer number 57. I have number 59 they were forged in the same batch I think that's pretty neat

    Very cool sam. I wouldve thought forging something as fine as tweezers wouldve been nearly impossible. These look super sturdy way better than the junk tweezers i seem to find haha

      Yeah it is a little finicky, but they are a massive improvement over the store bought junk 😁

    Can I order a die molder for tweezer making for punching press machine?

    Nice Sam, one question. You fullered a groove in the spring, did you fold that into the inside?

    • @SamTownsBladesmith
      @SamTownsBladesmith  3 года назад +1

      No, I folded it to the outside. Realistically you could probably skip that step, but it helps with getting the fold centred

    I even asked myself, has it a spring ability if it is mild steel. But obviously it has 😁. They look prety nice. Is it possible to start right from 1/4" by 1/4" square stock ? Because I have tons of it. Not this strange stocksize 🤣, but I got tons of 6mm square and 8 mm square even 10 mm square. But you inspired me to make some for my sugar cubes. Like a serving tweezer for tea and coffee. You know, a little bit floral leaf decor at the end, like a acanthus or fleur de lis

    • @SamTownsBladesmith
      @SamTownsBladesmith  3 года назад

      Yeah you can absolutely forge them from square, I just used what I had to hand. They sound great,a
