When i was a kid, my best friend and i used to flip the coffee table upside down and we would sit in it like a canoe and take turns catching fish. Later, in his 20s, we had grown apart as people do and hadnt talked in a few years. Well, at some point along the way he developed some habits that he couldnt live with, so he decided to stop living with them. Its hard sometimes to avoid feeling like if i had stayed closer he would still be here, but i know better. Iwould give anything to flip that table just one more time. This video brought back some very fond memories buried behind a darkwall, so thank you for helping me find them.
This is my favorite game for the snes. So many hours spent looking for and finally catching a 22lbs bass on the final lake will forever be one of my best memories of gaming
Man you taking me back to the fun days of video games. I would play all day long. No online play, no high scores to chase against others. Just simple gaming and these fishing games was a lot of fun
Childhood memory unlocked, i remember probably being the only kid being excited to rent this game at blockbuster on Fridays after school with my dad. Definitely was locked in all weekend on my snes
I use to play this game alot, I finally beat all the lakes and use to keep a book with all the codes for the lakes. I am going to have to play it again after watching this.
Great game Alex! Brings back tons of childhood memories!! Definitely a great way to leave off. Looking forward to seeing you play some more. Thank you for always keeping it realistic!!
Super Black Bass was how I spent my Saturday mornings as a kid, when I wasn’t fishing for real. I was all about the purple crank bait. I also drove the boat around until I got a large ping on the fish finder (there were 2 graphics for this. Either one large marker on the sonar, or two smaller ones). I think the first lake had a spillway that was usually pretty good.
I'm absolutely loving all the videos I'm seeing of streamers and creators playing the Black Bass games recently. I'd love to see you play Blue Marlin on the NES too that one was really ahead of its time with all the details they put into it
I never played video games that much. I spent most of my time back then running through the woods acting like a fool…lol. But we couldn’t afford them . Great video Alex. Looks like fun.
Omg if you like this game , wait until you try bass masters classic pro edition for the super Nintendo!!!!!!! Love the graphics on that game :) Also another super fun game that I rented every weekend as a kid was the blue marlin for the nes. You can play that for hours and get lost in the moment of the game :)
Brings me back to my childhood! I played this game from the time i could play video games until i was teenager! Havent seen this game since then! #spillway#spinner #lunker I miss playing the game! So nostalgic!
Shoulda picked this one up a few weeks ago when I saw it at a game store. Turned to my fiance and said, look babe its newer version of what Realistic Fishing been playing!
@RealisticFishing welp, said now's the time and picked it up at a place not too far from me (GameChangers in Michigan City, Indiana) for an easy $10 a few hours ago! (I saw a few copies on eBay for about that much shipped for any interested) Got me some learnin to do, but seems pretty sweet. Looking forward to more videos. Might I ask What you use to capture and such with? I would love to be able to get some SNES, PS1, and PS2 gameplay captured and uploaded myself.
cool vid, brings back memories! if you're looking to get into retro fishing games as a regular feature of your channel, i gotta recommend Bass Masters Classic for the snes, probably my favorite fishing game of all time.
Took the kid ice fishing on a local pond yesterday that's notoriously difficult to fish from low hanging branches around the shore. We didn't catch any fish, but we did collect a dozen nice lures and some bobbers!
There are a ton of fishing games I don’t remember and this was one of them. Gotta give these devs back in the day credit, the graphics weren’t the absolute worst lol
I love this game! My Dad got it for me shortly after it was released. I still play it sometimes along with the second game “Bassin’s Black Bass” which was much harder.
It has been eons since I played this game. I remember getting it at the mall at KB Toys, had a lot of fun selecting which color and what lure to use. Those big bass were quite a challenge to get in.
I always thought to myself, i know the games now might look better but they will never have that same feel to them. I love that old style of game play, if that makes any sense. I played this and Sega Marine fishing with the fishing controller lol
Maybe that guy who was bragging about 2 lb bluegill was just playing this game. I like the fiddle playing; the sound of the waves would drive me out of my mind.
I will be honest... There were a lot of days when I was up at the cabin and could have gone fishing but I just stayed in and played this instead. Use the crankbait.
If you go to the mouth of the creek, keep trying to enter it with the boat, Every time the fishfinder pops or you see one on the screen , fish the whole area then go back to the boat screen, repeat those steps and you'll eventually see a double digit fish pop up. You can catch more than one like that too!
Who remembers this game?
I do!
I do!!
I do! Fun game. Be sure to find all the hidden lures!
First fishing game I played.
One of my faves!!!
I wish I didn’t get rid of my original SNES and NES…..😢😢😢❤❤❤

Lmao I remember renting it and not even returning it. Probably still around the basement
Dude, I don't know why, but I dig it when you do these episodes. Thanks
I played Bassin's Black Bass for SNES quite a bit, and I used to know where most of the hidden lures were located. Thank you for the nostalgia.
I use to play this game alot, I finally beat all the lakes and use to keep a book with all the codes for the lakes. I am going to have to play it again after watching this.

The spillway was always my favorite with the purple spinnerbait 😂 always caught a lunker! Nostalgia
I always dugg Jimmy Houstons Bass Fishing for SNES. It was simple and fun to play. I'd love to see you run that
@ I think I rented that from Blockbuster at some point, but totally sucked at it lol.
Big graphics upgrade between game systems. Fun to see these classics.
More detail for sure! I hope it has the fun factor 👍
Many days of my life spent on this game !!! I would go back in a heart beat

This was one of my favorite games as a kid. I played the heck out of this when I couldn't go fishing in the local creeks, and ponds.
My nana was so good at that game. So many hours play.
I haven't played this game since the 90's..... A great game for sure

Absolutely remember this game man so many memories
Took the kid ice fishing on a local pond yesterday that's notoriously difficult to fish from low hanging branches around the shore. We didn't catch any fish, but we did collect a dozen nice lures and some bobbers!
Hit the dock area and use a cankbait..lol love this game !
I will try to remember for next time I play 👍
i played this game all the time as a kid
for what its worth Bassin's Black Bass with Hank Parker is the amazin version.
I might have that one too. I will get to it eventually
I like this one better but the original 1/4 oz. blue/chartreuse Hank Parker Classic was the best spinnerbait ever made...
I liked that game back in the day
5.9 lbs... little where is that lake😂😂
I loved this game
lol for game it say bad day small fish if you hit in your lake you would been very happy. nice video
One of my favorite rentals. I would come back to it often.
This was one of my favorite games growing up. I still remember where the hidden lures are lol
What hidden lures? 😮
@RealisticFishing hah just do a quick search for snes super black bass hidden lures! You'll see I think there is 4 or 5 you can get

Something on that game sounds like the protozoid slimers from Duke Nukem.
Its the sound for wind! It does sound similar 😂
use to rent this game from blockbuster
Yes guy! I played this last summer. Killed it on-the 1st lake! So many memories.
I loved this game also ❤
Hey Alex - I wasn't able to buy consoles and games like this when they were new... This is great tech for it's age, thank you for sharing
Love love love this game. I still have it somewhere. This is the only 1 I've ever liked to play
Loving it dude
Lets go!!!!!
I played that all the time!!
Have you beaten this game?
@RealisticFishing decades ago yes , took a little while though! Blast from the past! WoW
Probably the best fishing game ever created.
This was my fav fishing game as a kid! Rented it soooo many times from the store. Couldn't buy it because we couldn't find it lol.
The sequel bassins black bass is my favorite fishing game all time.
wow, i haven't seen this game in so long
Looks good KIR
I used to play Bassin’s Black Bass. The one with Hank Parker. Man that was a fun game. Very similar to this one.
tall fisherman's tales from black bass , lol Iv'e never caught a 7.5 pound bass or a 5 pounder. KIR
Never played this one much, but loved the one with Hank Parker. I should get this and try it out again.
I played this with my dad for hours and hours back in the early 1990’s
Nothing like a walk back into my childhood. KiR!!!
👍👍 a 7.5 and some 5lb’rs would definitely be great around me. Fun stuff don’t want to wish bad weather for you but this is fun also!
Yes. A lot better than the other game. A little more graphic and realistic. Hey, keep it Realistic
KIR 🍻
KIR 👊

I've been a fan for a couple of years & could I possibly have your permission to give you a special shout out i love fishing as well
Love this game!
I still have it. Only game I could get my dad to play with me 😂😂😂
you should play this so much that you have to call upstairs like Cartman did with his mom for a bed pan
😂 mom, hot pockets now!
If me and my cousin Bo weren’t actually fishing at his stock pond, we were playing this game
Lots of fish in the game next to the docks. Remind double-digit fish would be in the water inlet channels are
i played the hell out of this game when i was a kid i would rent it non stop me and my cousins would play for hours good fishing game for the snes
Go for the biggest shades you can find….some of these bass are MONSTERS!!!
This game was amazing
Awesome! Is like to play that game.
I still play thus on og equipment.
The dam is great midday
I always thought to myself, i know the games now might look better but they will never have that same feel to them. I love that old style of game play, if that makes any sense. I played this and Sega Marine fishing with the fishing controller lol
I might have that one too. I want to make videos about all of the fishing games I have
Never even realized they made a sequel.
The mode 7 in this game is very comfy.
Maybe that guy who was bragging about 2 lb bluegill was just playing this game. I like the fiddle playing; the sound of the waves would drive me out of my mind.
Lots of clicks, clacks, and waves crashing 😅
I will be honest... There were a lot of days when I was up at the cabin and could have gone fishing but I just stayed in and played this instead. Use the crankbait.
