Advice I went there in 2019 july, my route was Chandigarh-Mandi-Tirthan-Jalori-Sainj-Narkanda-Shimla- Chandigarh. And roads were in very good condition. We had bajaj V15 and bike was taking too much load as we were two friends on single bike, another reason might be steepness of roads. This time am thinking to take my avenger. Great views, fresh air, fresh fruits, beautiful sceneries everywhere, Jibhi waterfall also was great. 1L petrol costed us ₹95 (mights have crossed ₹100 now) and was packed in bottles only (sold on nearly every kirana shops) thank god that we got it there, as you would found no pumps for about 60-70kms till Sainj. Better get your tank full before entering tirthan, or carry extra 5 litres with you, as on steep heights at 11000ft bikes consumes alot of petrol. From tirthan jaloro is abt 25-30kms But from 3000ft you reach at ht of 11000 feet. Its amazing. Must go to enjoy peace and beautiful sceneries In Tirthan you get accomodation for abt 700 (tent or room). I recommend you to stay in tent on lake side. Its awesome view. -Also visit Kufri adventure sports point while moving from Narkanda to Shimla. Must carry- power banks, atleast one puncture kit, general medicines.
Aisi jagha par to ride ka maza dugna ho jata hai..Ani me Shamshar Mahadev Mandir hai bht famous or vahan ki valley to or bhi badhiya hai..us mandir k gate k aage se nikle the ani ki taraf..Raste kaise b ho par bike par alag or asli maza ata hai aise area me..ek dusra bhi route hai agar vahan se jao jo ki ani cross karne k baad joint hota hai usme to pahadiyon ki puri height tak road upar jata hai or 50% off road sari pahadiyan niche dikhti hai..kabhi try karna vahan se agar dubara gaye ani to jaza aa jayega ride ka... sainj tak vaisa hi hai par jabardast hai👍🏻

As I was riding avenger (pathetic low end torque) with pillion there were moments when pillion had to get off and literally push the bike. Is jalori pass open in winters as well?
